Before you start reading i just wanna say that there will be a lot of mistakes in this book because english isn't my first language. Im actually from Denmark

"Honey wake up!" Mayla feels someone shaking her, she lets out a groan she turns the other way and pulls the blanket over her head. "Get up!" Her mother's voice echoes in her head. She scratches her head "Just one more minute mom" she opens her eyes and blinks a few times then gets up. She puts on her slippers, walks to the kitchen and opens the fridge. "Nothing" Mayla says and looks at her mom, her mom nods and says "get your suitcase, you can grab breakfast at the airport". Mayla nods.
Maylas mom drives her to the airport she keeps talking all the way Mayla just answers every question with a hmm, she looks out the window watching the cars drive by.
She cannot stop thinking about Aiden, Aiden is one of her best friends they've bin like siblings since kindergarten. Mayla miss him. It has been two years since they last saw each other. Mayla wakes up from her 'dream' "OOMMG mom that song is so damn good turn it up" Mayla says and looks at her mom. "It talks" her mom smiles and turns up the music, the song is called hold back the river by James Bay. Maylas mom starts singing along with the song "tried to keep you close to me but live got in between" Mayla looks at her and starts laughing. The rest of the drive was pretty much just akward her mom kept singing, and Mayla just sat looking out the window.
"Honey can you get your stuff in the trunk? Maylas mom stops the car and looks at Mayla. "yeah sure" she steps out of the car, opens the trunk and grabs her pink suitcase, a sports-bag and her light blue backpack. "Ready to go?" Maylas mom askes and looks at her with big eyes "that is a lot of clothes,Mayla you are only there for a freaking week! "I know mom but i just want to be sure" Mayla says and smiles.
"You are such a diva, but you are my diva honey" her mom says and pulls her into a hug. "I am going to miss you Mayla" she mumbles. "I am going too miss you to mommy" Mayla says and kisses her on the cheek. "Take care of yourself" she says looking deep in Maylas eyes. "mooom i am going to be just fine it is just Aiden, bye" Mayla says and waves then she starts walking towards the entrance.
"Please put your seatbelts on, we are about to land" she puts her seatbelt on.
"Mayla! Aiden shouts hugging her from behind. Mayla turns around and faces Aiden.
"I have missed you soo much" she says hugging him back.
"Look at you all grown up and that stuff" Aiden says and looks at Mayla.
"And you are growing a beard" Mayla says laughing. "Oh you are so funny" Aiden says with a sarcastic voice. "I know i learned from the best" Aiden smiles and wraps his arm around Maylas shoulder.
