Max's pov
I ran and ran till my legs hurt and my body became weak. I was officially lost in the woods with no power in protecting myself no weapon in sight.
I sighed and Sat down near a tree that was large with familiar carvings in them. I instantly got up an looked around before running my small fragile hands over the carving.
Memories flashed in my mind the brutal way I killed my parents and put lots of drugs in my grandmothers drink accidentally.
I couldn't believe it I was too young to understand.
"I'm sorry I'm sorry" I mumbled then reached into my pocket having the pocket knife my dad gave me. I had more memories.

"Hey max you like hunting and fishing right!?" my dad yelled from afar "you better not have taught your son that Charlie!" my mother yelled from my house.
"C'mon max let's go on a adventure for your 7th birthday today! What do you say!?" my dad said in such a happy way "I've never seen him this happy since you were born!" my mom laughed kissing my head
"I love you" I heard her say

I nearly cried from My horrible mistake. I cried and cried never stopping till I heard crackling
Maddie's pov
"Family night today!" my mother said happily grabbing my brother from his high chair. I smiled wide and kissed his head laughing "k me,you and mom all together!" I said smiling to my brother who only giggled and grabbed at my blonde hair.
"He loves you you know!" my mother laughed and I laughed. "H-hey mom what game are we playing?" I asked innocently hoping it was candy land. (my favorite game of all time xD)
"How about a new game Madeline" my mother chuckled pulling a New game I've never seen before. "WOW! What is it!?" I said in awe at the colored game board.
"I made it!" my mom said proudly "see It kinda like candy land but the trick is To not get to the end you have to stay in the beginning of the candy!" I smiled at the idea and nodded in understanding. "You go first mommy!" I said happily.
Before she picked up her player we heard a loud banging sound on the front door. I swear I saw something run out if the basement.
