Red Demon

Olivia's P.O.V.

     My eyes widened as I saw her. I saw her the first time in so many years. Ever since the day she left earth. The red demon. A.K.A. My mother.
    I felt my legs trembling and arms go weak. Mother. Oh god please no. Not my mother.
She snarled at me, a look of pure disgust on her face the more we stared at each other.
"Tch. I am still hotter looking than you. Look at you too. You gained weight too and became more pathetic looking than I remembered."

"Th-that is not tru..." Just then she kicked me across the ground and into a tree. I got the wind knocked out of me due to the impact of the tree against my back and I felt extreme pain. When I could breathe again I struggled to prop myself up and tried to stand as I used my katana as a means of support. Panting I tasted the blood that was trickling down from my mouth as I glared at her. Doing my best to hide the fear I was feeling from just looking at her beautiful snake like face.
     "Haha. See. Pathetic." My mom said with her sneer turning into a scowl. I struggled to stand but I didn't want to see more pathetic than I already am to her. 

"I. Am. Not. Pathetic!"

Rage was boiling in up inside me that it began to increase my adrenaline rush. Slowly I felt my pain go away as my fight or flight responses got kicked in. Gripping my sword I got into my stance just in case she would make the first move. Clearly she is more amused with ranting at me.

"You are. You were always the mistake that had no purpose in this life. You can't even keep your man away from getting laid by sluts. Ha! You can barely even keep your baby from getting kidnapped."

That really did it. I lunged at her aiming for her side as I had my blade down low, slicing upwards I didn't get her ribs but at least I got her whole arm off when she tried to move away. She screeched in agony which was music to my ears. Before I can go in for another attack a wall of fire engulfed my mother blowing me back with the huge wave of heat as if I was nothing more than just a rag doll. Heat kept blowing at me when I was on the ground and I felt my skin burn. Throwing my arm over my face I gasped at the sight that had beheld before me. My mother transformed into a large azure dragon.

"What the..." Before I could finish my sentence my mother was shooting at me like a steam train. Covering my face I braced myself for the impact that never came. Warily opening my eyes I was surpised to see Romano standing in front of my, holding up a barrier around us.

"Romano?!"

"GO OLIVIA I CAN TAKE CARE OF THE REST FROM HERE!"

"No I can't let you..."

"I SAID GO OLIVIA. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS BATTLE! GO GET ACE AND CLEMENTINE!"

I widened my eyes as worry was written all over my face. Romano merely smiled lovingly and reached on hand out to me as the other kept the barrier up. Grasping onto his hand he pulled me into a warm, strong embrace. Whispering into my ear lovingly Romano said,

"Be strong Olivia. I have faith in you because you are my precious little cousin." He kissed my cheek and then pushed me along as he yelled at me to go. Holding back my tears and nodded. Running off to where Ace and Clementine are. I am ready.

Romano's P.O.V.

Smiling to myself I saw Olivia run off safely while my aunt my aunt walked out of the dragon's flames and came my way. I kept my position as I glared at her with my defenses still up just in case she has some sort of idea.
"Romano~ it's been too too long. How are you my darling child?"
"Good until you came."
"Don't be like that Mano~. I missed you so much. Can I get a hug from my favori..." Not letting my aunt finish her sentence I had a powerful wind of blades shoot at her. Just a few got into her sides before she had a a magic shield safe her from the rest.
   "Don't call me your favorite because you sure as hell ain't mine."
   "Geh. Playing hard to get huh? Well. It's ok. But my my have you gotten stronger and even much more handsome. I love it."

Furrowing my brows I watched as my aunt's wounds healed quickly. Puzzling over it I have to find her weak spot. Since I know in order for the dead to walk this earth and not disappear is if they haunt the place because of many reasons. Or they were summoned and there is some sort of object that is giving them constant energy and is their gateway so to speak.
   Before I knew what was coming to me  my aunt suddenly appeared behind me and kicked me up into the air. My body flying into the air like a rag doll's. I am gasping for air as the wind got knocked out of me. I am about to fall when I quickly pulled myself out of my daze and said a quick spell to give me the ability to walk in air. But I tripped.
    Skidding along the sky I eventually caught myself. My aunt flew up and was no face to face with me. Laughing softly as she watched me.
   "You're just going through a rebellious stage aren't you my love. But don't worry. Auntie is here~"
   "Leave me alone! You are far from family. I always hated you ever since you were abusing Olivia. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH SUFFERING SHE HAS WENT THROUGH?!"
   "QUIET! SHE WAS JUST A CURSE ANYWAY! I NEVER WANTED HER! I KNEW SHE WAS GONNA BE MORE POWERFUL THAN ME SO I SHOULD HAVE THROWN HER INTO THE SEA WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE! But I gave her mercy. I made her work. And kept her alive."
   "Barely."
   "QUIET! Now.  Seeing her the way she is. Her life now. Really pisses me OFFFFFF!" My aunt shrieked as she then summoned her fire dragon spell. Thinking quickly I summoned my own dragon. Except mine was of wind. She was coming in fast but I remained calm and raised my arm for it to be ready. As she neared closer I felt the waves of heat growing more intense and then pointed my hand to the direction of the fire dragon, made a gun shape out of my hand gave the command.
   "Bang"
   The two dragons crashed against each other. Both cancelling each other out but caused a great explosion of heat. Creating a giant whirlwind and blew away my aunt and I. Covering my face to block the heat I saw my aunt covering hers. A red pendant blowing behind her until the chain broke from the intensity of the wind.
Instead of letting it go my aunt panicked and dove after it when it hit me. That is what I need. It's what's keeping her here.
I dove after it as well. Using a wind spell it increased my speed to make me reach the pendant. When I was so close to it I reached out to get but my aunt pushed me away. We were clawing at each other, pushing each other, just trying to reach the pendant before the other did. Just as my aunt reached for the pendant I last minute pulled out a short sword from under my shirt and sliced down on her wrist with all my might. Her hand flew upward as blood poured out like a gush of water from a crack in a dam.
Letting out a blood curdling screech my aunt covered the blood flowing stump. Giving me time for me to grab the pendant and look up at her.
She gave me the nastiest look. A look that is indescribable because of how contorted she looked. It made me laugh as I sneered. Holding the pendant in front of her she tried to say one last spell to curse me but it was too late for her.
"Addio" I said as I crushed the pendant and watched her screech as she turned to ash. Before I could hit the ground I had my dragon come and save me. Laughing erratically with success I had my dragon take me to Olivia. My aunt is gone and all that is left is Grey. Time to eradicate him.

Heeeyyy. Thank you all for your patience. So sorry for the delay. Wattpad kept deleting my progress and lately I have been really busy as well and life is just flat out chaotic. So I haven't had the quiet time to write. But here is the long awaited chapter. And next one is gonna be just as action packed. And. Just a heads up. The last two chapters are completed so when I reach to the end I hope to upload EVERYTHING! Haha. I love you all and hope to have your continued support. I love you all.
