Chapter Two
We were on our way home and I felt as if I should keep this to myself, I didn't want to worry my uncle anymore, than he already is, but I was still scared.
When we got home I went straight to my room, I wanted to think about everything thats been happening.
Obviously my mom kept something from me, that my uncle know, but won't tell me. We are moving to who knows where, because we're running from someone or something, that I also don't know. I'm in the dark, and know one is bothering to shed some light on me. I need some answers, I need to know what we are running from, and why. I know that he killed my mom but why, why her what did she do?
I went downstairs and I heard my uncle talking...
"She doesn't know anything, and her mother didn't want her to be a part of your wold, and anything from it." he said in a light whisper
"She has to know. She has the right and her 16th birthday is coming soon and so is the eclipse!" Said a woman's voice "The prophecy said that if they aren't united then both worlds were to end, her powers are soon to start, and what are you going to tell her, She needs protection! and how is a human suppose to protect her, her own mother died trying?!?! That demon is going to come back and try to end her life so that the prophecy won't come true..."
Wait did she just say DEMON? What is going on here, I thought those were just make believe, just stories to scare little kids!
I started listening again,
"... you know the are allies with the werewolves, and they will help, destroy her too, she won't be safe here. At least let me send someone to your world to help you protect her?"
"Ok, just don't let anything happen to her, please, I promise I will explain everything to her in time, but let me tell her?" my uncle said pleading
I went up to my room, and just went to bed, I had alot on my mind, and I was getting a headache.
The next morning I, went downstairs, to find my uncle already there. He was wearing a pair of sweats and a big t-shirt.
"Good morning" I told him
"good morning, the plane leaves at 12:00, so you better go get ready" he said while sipping his coffee.
"Where are we moving to that we have to take a plane?" I asked curiously
"We are moving to a small city in Washington, now please hurry and change" he said rushing me
I went upstairs and put on a pair of skinnies and a dark purple v-neck shirt. Then I did my make up and brushed my hair, I put half of my hair up, and my bangs fell over my face. These are times I am grateful my hair is naturally straight. When I was done it was already 11:00. I went downstairs and my uncle was already waiting for me.
The plane took a long time, from California all the way to Washington, thats a long way. So I decided to take a nap. When I had woke up we were already preparing to land.
We took a taxi to the house we were moving into, the car wasn't supposed to get here until Monday.
When we got there, I saw the house was huge, and we were greeted by our neighbor, his name was Danny and he seemed to look my age, he was gorgeous, he had black hair, and blue eyes, he was tall and looked to have a nice body. He had on a pair of black skinnies, and a blood red shirt.
We went inside and Danny joined us, he was so hot!! He said he recently moved here two days ago, too, and that his parents travel alot so we won't really see them.
Then he wanted to talk to my uncle about something in private, so I left and went to the kitchen, were you could hear what they were saying.
"Raven's aunt sent me, I am a... wait I can't tell you know, someone is listening" he said in a serious tone
"Ok" was all my uncle said.
They had left to Danny's house and I was left alone, so I started unpacking, and I was finished by midnight, and my uncle wasn't even back yet. I went to bed wondering, about Danny.
The rest of the month went by quickly, me and Danny got to know each other, and I was sort of crushing on him. School started in a week, and me and Danny we dreading it. I was going to ride to school with him since he was already 16, I won't turn 16 until February 9th, and that was 5 months away. I can't wait.
The rest of the week went by and we were starting school, tomorrow. I had everything ready, all my school stuff, new clothes, and new shoes.
I went to bed early, because I had to wake up, early, for school, tomorrow.
[Dannie's POV]
I'm at home thinking of Raven, her gorgeous green eyes and perfectly shaped lips. I loved her hair it's raven black, darker than night, and her voice I couldn't get her out of my head, what was wrong with me?
Then I remembered the look in her uncles face when i told him I was a vampire, and then I imagined what Raven would say if she knew the truth. I wondered how she would react, part of me wanted to tell her, and the other part was telling me not to. I have only known her for a short time and she is making me feel like no ever has, and I think I'm falling in love with her, but I don't know how.
The next morning I woke up and got ready, Raven had gone with me to the mall to get all my things ready for school. School, on earth is different from school in Thania, my world. Thania is filled with monsters of every kind. School in our world we learned of our history and of what may be the future. We had many seers, they were the ones that saw the future. I had a different class than other vampires, because I was to be a protector of the royal family.
A knock at the door made me jump I was so in thought I hadn't even noticed Raven, knocking. I went to get the door and when I saw her my mouth dropped. She looked amazing, she had on a little black skirt with a pink skull at the corner, and a black and pink corset, with black converse, and her hair looked beautiful, it was down and it reached her waist. She wasn't that kind of girl to cake on make-up, and her green eye's entranced me, and I felt as if I could stare at them forever.
"Hello, we;re going to be late for school, and please close your mouth your drooling." She said, I realized I had been staring at her like an idiot, she was smiling, and she was blushing.
"Let's go then, my cars over there" I said pointing at two new cars I had purchased, when I arrived, to this world, they were fast, and thats why I got them. I loved fast vehicles. I looked over to Raven and her mouth was open. "Now your the one drooling" I said laughing at her face.
"I cant believe you have the new 2009 Alfa Romeo 8C Spider, and the new 2009 BMW M6. WOW " she said excited, and here I just liked them because of their speed. "I can see you like them "
"Sorry about the gawking, it's just I like cars, I like working on them sometimes."
"Wow, I would have never guessed, now lets go, and you can, tell me on the way, who or what got you into cars. I wanna know all about it."
She climbed in and she started saying that she would help her mom when her car wouldn't work, and then she started liking it. I was listening to every word she said, I was so fascinated by her, that I wanted to know everything about her. I was thinking about how it would be like if she knew what I really was...
"DANNY!!! LOOK OUT!!!" Raven screamed, out of no where, I turned to where she was pointing and a truck was about to hit us.
[Raven's POV]
I was telling him about how I had gotten into cars and then I turned to him and it looked as if he was thinking of something, so I stopped talking, I started looking out the window instead.
I turned to Danny and when I looked at him through his window I saw a truck, about to hit us.
"DANNY!!! LOOK OUT!!!" I screamed, and saw him turn to look out his window.
The car was coming closer and all of a sudden, I fainted.
I was unconscious and thinking that I'm about to die, and I pass out. The last thing I remember seeing was Danny, and his gorgeous face.
