Kaede ran as fast as she could back to the house. She quickly entered it and went to her room. She entered hastily, causing Shiro to wake up from his nap.
"Kaede? What are you doing here so early?" Shiro asked.
"Sensei!" she shouted.
"Yeah, what is it?"
"You're not dating Riven anymore, but are you interested in anyone else?"
"Why are you asking this?" Shiro looked at Kaede. She seemed very anxious. "I'm not thinking about that stuff right now."
"Sensei, what do you think of me?"
"I think you're a great student."
'Just as I thought. Should I tell him or wait?' Kaede wondered.
"Alright Kaede, what is this about?" Shiro asked her. Kaede didn't respond. Shiro sighed. "I know I'm your sensei, but I need to heal so we can move on. After all of this I'll make my decision, okay?"
'Sensei knew exactly what I was thinking!' Kaede thought. She nodded. "Thanks Sensei."
"Yeah sure..." Kaede curled up next to him on his bed. "Kaede, what are you doing!?"
"I'm going to keep Sensei company." She looked at him. "Unless you don't want me to."
"Do whatever you want" Shiro sighed as he rested his head on a pillow. He closed his eyes.
'Crap, I can't sleep like this!' Shiro thought. He tried anyways, with his gakusei lying on top of him. A few hours later, Riven entered the room and saw the two sleeping together.
"Shiro, what are you doing to Kaede!?" she asked. Shiro woke up.
"Huh what? Oh hi Riven" Shiro greeted, still groggy from being woken up.
"Yeah, hi, but more importantly...Why is Kaede on your bed!?" Riven asked. Shiro looked in front of him and saw Kaede still laying on his bed.
"Crap, it's not what it looks like! She just laid with me for some reason. You see, I was asleep this whole time" Shiro insisted.
"Fine," Riven sighed. "Don't be trying to seduce Kaede as well."
"I'm not!" Riven approached him and took his shirt off. "Riven, what are you..."
"I'm just checking your wound. Calm down" she told him. She removed the gauze from his wound and was amazed by what she saw. The wound had completely healed.
"What's wrong Riven?" Shiro asked. She pointed at his shoulder. Shiro looked at it. He saw his wound had completely healed.
"Why, would you look at that" Shiro commented.
"You're not surprised at all?" Riven poked his shoulder. "Do you feel any pain still?"
"No, not at all."
"That's amazing! When I got shot, it took over a month for it to heal. You were able to heal completely with one day of rest," Riven told him. "Wait, we didn't remove the bullet. Is it still in there?"
"I don't think so" Shiro replied.
"But how is that possible?" Riven asked. Emi entered the room soon after.
"The bullets Riko used were anti-magic ones. The disintegrate the moment they enter the body to cancel out angel regeneration" Emi explained.
"So does that mean my angel regeneration is gone forever?" Shiro asked.
"Good question, but I actually don't know. The bullet became a part of your bloodstream, so you might not even be an angel anymore. You might just be full demon now" Emi explained. Shiro clenched his fists. "Shiro?"
