Kate POV
I wake the next morning to a bang at the door. I slowly sit up and say
"who is it?".
"Ashton".
"Go away I don't want to see you or anyone".
He then opens my door and enters my room.
"Are you deaf or just an idiot? I said go away" I shout.
"Well I'm the one in charge here so you will listen to me it won't be the other way around" Ashton replies calmly.
"What do you want?" I demand.
"I need to ask you something" he says
"What?" I say curiously.
"You know how to fight. Well the rest of the beneficent's don't so I need you to train them" Ashton says.
"Are you joking? No way I won't train the beneficent's to fight my own sector" I say laughing.
"Well don't worry we won't be attacking the close for a while. We are going to attack Ardent and you are going to train them. That's an order" Ashton orders.
"And what will you do if I refuse?" I ask nervously.
"Well all of the close members are very weak at the moment so if we were to attack now we would slaughter them like pigs. It's your choice" Ashton says grinning.
I don't know what to do because if I train them then they'll be just as good unless I don't train them as well.
"Fine when do I start?" I ask.
"At midday so you have 3 hours thank you Kate and good luck" Ashton says and leaves.
I have 3 hours to do whatever I want.
I sit on my bed dreading today and thinking that I'm going to help the Beneficent members.
The close's enemies.
The more I think about it the more I dread it.
Then I think about the only person I never thought I'd hurt and that I miss from the big fight in the close.
My mother.
I can't think about this to much otherwise I'll start crying.
Within 5 minutes I fall asleep.
I wake up and for a minute I forget where I am, then I remember what happened and that Ashton betrayed the close and took me captive and I still don't know what I really need to do.
I miss Theo so much and I'm scared and I need someone to look after me.
Then Ashton walks in "hello Kate are you ready to start training".
"I have no choice do I?" I ask sadly.
"Nope but I like to make it like you do" Ashton says.
"Then yes I'm ready" I say standing up and walking out of my room.
It's been an hour now since I've started teaching them and they're rubbish and I'm teaching them the basics.f
"Ashton I can't do this, they aren't listening and they can't fight" I say stomping over towards Ashton and James.
"Keep trying, you'll warm up to them after a while they are better then they were two days ago, you should've seen them" Ashton replies laughing.
"We did because they fought us remember?" I say angrily.
He nods and says
"well don't give up yet, that's not like you" Ashton says.
