Tris P.O.V
I wake up to the sound of my annoying brother Caleb screaming, "Wake up Beatrice, do you know what time it is? It's 8:00!"
Then all of a sudden I wake up and scream, "WHAT!"
"You slept in!" Caleb says.
"Nahhhhhhh," I reply ( hince the sarcasm )
I quickly burst out of bed. Luckily I took a shower last night so I won't have to take one this morning. It's my first day of back at high school it's my senior year and I'm really excited to see the gang of course we caught up during the break but I still miss them plus I can't wait to see what drama is in stall for this year. As I get ready I decide to wear blue skinny jeans with a purple crop top and a black sweater over the top. I rush into the bathroom to quickly do my makeup. I put on some light concealer with mascara and some lip gloss, I put my hair into a high messy bun and run downstairs. Once I'm downstairs I see my parents calmly eating breakfast and Caleb reading a book. Normally by this time everyone is at work and school as it is 7:40 wait what?
"CALEB!!!" I scream. He is sitting on the couch laughing his head off.
My mother scolds him. "Ah I see you are ready nice and early Beatrice," my mother says. I nod my head and grab a banana, I decided that I'll walk to school because I'm up early and it's a beautiful day plus I don't live to far from school. I say my goodbyes and walk to school.

As I'm walking to school I get a text from Christina my BFF
Chrissy- Hey girlie you ready for school?😜
Trissy- What do you think?😒
Chrissy- Eh I'm just happy that I get to see Will☺️
Trissy- Hey! What about me?! 😱
Chrissy- Oh and you too.😘
Chrissy-I was wondering if you knew what I should wear?👗
Trissy-CHRISTINA!!! Come on you look great in anything.😄
Chrissy- Alright thanks😘 cya at school😒
Trissy-Byeeeeeeeeee😝💕
Just then I bump into someone as I was not looking where I was going.
"Oh sorry I'm so clumsy," I say as I look up at the tall, handsome boy with dark dreamy blue eyes.
He replies, "it's alright, are you walking to school?"
"Ah yeah I'm walking to Divergent high, where are you off to?" I ask.
He answers, "I'm walking to Divergent high too!"
"That's awesome are you new? We can walk together!" I exclaim.
He replies, "Yeah and if you don't mind could you show me around?"
"Yeah of course, I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself, I'm Beatrice Prior but you can call me Tris," I say.
He says, "cool, I'm Four Eaton."
Then the rest of the walk is silent.

As we walk into school I see the gang. "Hi everyone!" I say. They are too busy noticing Four behind me to respond.
"Oh sorry this is Four he is new here," I explain.
"Four this is Christina, Will, Marlene, Uriah, Shauna, Zeke and Lynn, Shuana and Lynn are sisters and Zeke and Uriah are brothers, Shuana and Zeke are dating and so are Marlene and Uriah," I say.
"Hi," he says. A chorus of Hi and Heys come from around the group.
Four and I walk down to the office to collect his schedule, but on the way I can't help but notice that's most of the girls eyes in the hallway look at Four and he just smiles at himself. And I can't help but feel jealous? As Four collects at his schedule I see he has all of his classes with me and the gang.
Period 1- Maths- room 3- Mrs Matthews
Period 2- History- room 5- Miss Heinrich
Period 3- Gym- room 4- Coach Amar
Period 4- Lunch
Period 5- Free period- room 6
Period 6- Art- room 10- Miss Wu
Period 7- Music-Room 7- Miss Wu
So far it looks like this is off to a good year.

I walk back into the hallway to get to my locker 46 Four got the locker next to me 47 and Christina on the other side 45. As Four leaves to get to Math Christina comes up to me and wiggles her eyebrows and she sings, "Oooooooooooo Tri-sssssss you like Fou-rrrrrrrrrrrr."
"WHAT!" I exclaim.
"Com'n the way you look at each other it's like wow," she exclaims.
I role my eyes at her and blush a little.
"See your blushing!" She says.
"Can we just get to class before we're late," I say.

During math I notice Four staring at me and me awkwardly staring away. I really don't know how to feel do I like Four? I'm to busy thinking and staring into space to notice that Mrs Matthews had come up to my desk and was asking me what the answer was to the question on the board luckily I'm a straight A student so I answer it pretty quickly.

Later a gym coach Amar tells us to do 5 laps of the oval, I'm one of the fastest in the class so I get ahead of everyone else but Four is pretty fast and he surprisingly beats me. After gym Chris and I are talking when Four comes up to me and says,
"Hey Tris you were pretty fast in gym, nice job."
I reply, " you weren't to bad yourself."

We all walk to lunch together to hear somebody screaming
"GET YOUR OWN DAUNTLESS CAKE!!!!" Shouts the person.
"NO I HAD IT FIRST!!" The other person screams. We immediately reconise that voice it's Zeke and Uriah. As we enter the Cafeteria everyone's eyes are on Zeke and Uriah.
Then all of a sudden Zeke grabs the piece of cake and slams it into Uriah's face. Laughter erupts throughout the room while Zeke goes of to get another price of cake and Uriah is licking all of the cake of himself. We invite Four to sit on our table. Earlier during history Will was planing on asking Christina out I'm really excited for her she will finally hVe a date with Will they have liked each other since the beginning of high school then everyone will have a boyfriend in our group except me, Lynn is seeing someone else but nobody knows who. Everybody is complaining about who should go and get the food since every week somebody goes and gets it Christina volunteers to go and Will.
When they come back Christina is smiling from ear to ear I'm guessing Will asked her out. While we are eating we talk to Four about who is "popular" and not. Lauren is the most popular girl in the school and is the leader of the all girl group with her main minions Cara and Nita.
"Try to avoid them," I say I notice Lauren is giving Four a flirtatious smile and k quickly make him turn away and continue talking. "Then there is Eric and his minions Peter and Drew they are badass boys all the girls fall for them," I explain. "Then there is us he all gender group and the loudest too, then there are just mini friend groups and nerds so yeah just stick with us and you'll be fine," I say.
"Hey guys there is a back to school party ant my place who's coming?" Uriah asks. Everyone agrees to come. Christina, Marlene, Shuana and Lynn are coming to my place to get ready because I'm pretty rich. For the rest of Lunch we talk about the party.
