Major Dinosaur Training <Owen Grady x Reader>

<Chapter 1>

You ran down the empty corridor. No one was around at the moment. You ran past labs. As you ran, you look out into the lab windows. One specific caught your eye. You stop running, breathing heavily you slowly walk towards the window. Inside the heating cage. There sat eggs. And not just any eggs. Dinosaur eggs.

Some scientists were in there, but they paid no attention to you. Almost hundreds of eggs were in there.

'Oh all the cute and adorable dinosaur babies I could train. Oh! So cute!' You think excitedly to yourself,

You then go back to running before anyone could spot you. You then head to a door that had a sign.

【RESTRICTED AREA. NO TRESPASSING.】

You ignore the sign. You always did. You type in the security code. It flashed red. "Incorrect?"You ask under your breath. You type it in again. It flashed red once again. "They must have changed the code. Hm..."You say walking away.

As you walk, you see a intern walking towards a door. You hid behind a wall and watched carefully on what numbers he punched in.

He pressed on the first number.

Then the second.

And then the fourth.

The door slid open, the intern stepped through and the door slid close behind him. You jog to the door you were trying to open. You put in the code.

"4... 1... 7... 5."You say hitting the last number. It flashed green signaling you got the code right. The door slid open and behind the door, was a habitat. Like a jungle. Even though the island was a jungle after all. The door closed behind you.

You walk into the habitat looking around. 'Where is he?'

You then make a sharp and loud whistle. As a response, you heard very heavy footsteps.

Whump!

Whump!

Whump!

WHUMP!

WHUMP!

WHUMP!

The footsteps got louder and closer at each step. You hear a low growl and a shot of hot breath behind you. You turn around slowly.

There facing you were large nostrils, a big sharp toothed mouth. Reptilian skin. And piercing yellow eyes. There stood before you was the great Tyrannosaurus rex.

It roared loudly at you. After the great roar, You roar loudly back. Not caring if anyone heard you. The dinosaur gives you a look.

"Hi, Rex."You say placing my palm on his nose. You remove your hand, and Rex sticks his tongue out and licked you. Covering you in his saliva. "Ugh..."You slightly groan. You look up at Rex still dripping in saliva,"You know how much I hate that, Rex!"You whine.

Rex tilts his head to the side. His yellow eyes filled with amusement.

"Anyway... Shall we get to training, Rex?"You asked the ginormous dino. Rex wagged slowly his tail side to side. Almost saying,"Yes. Let's do it."

After hours of training, you thought of teasing Rex a bit.

"Rex."You say. He looks at you. You stick  out your hand,"Shake."You commanded. Rex does so. But the only problem was, his arms were too short. You tried to hold in your laughter as Rex continued to desperately shake your hand.

He growled. His short little arms reached out to shake yours. But even his claws barely made it to your hand.

"Okay! Okay! Rex. Stop trying. Fifth time you fell for this, bud!"You say laughing. Rex glares at me. You hug him. "You're the only one who understands me... Well, the other dinosaurs can understand me but, you just know how it feels to be me."

You hugged him for about 2 minutes and let go,"I should be heading out. Stay out of trouble. I'll be back tomorrow. Promise."You say heading for the door. You enter the code in, and the metal door slid open. You walked through and the door closed and locked behind you.

You walked, with your hands in your pockets. As you walked you were being watched by a man. He just seemed to see you leave through the door that was restricted.

'Why was she just in the T-Rex habitat?' He thinks to himself following you.
