I closed the door and let out a sigh
Wished you did a better way of saying goodbye
Oh, what got in my head when you walked me to the door
My eyes to the floor, my chest felt tight
All because you didn't kiss me goodnight.

A/N We tackled - in English 15 - this poem called "All Because You Kissed Me Goodnight" - and it is a very interesting poem btw. It was published on 1977. So our teacher gave us a homework to make a one stanza poem of our own version in which it depicts what would've happened if the person didn't get a goodnight kiss - this was my piece.
