I have been on archeology dig for two years now. We have found so much but at the same time so little. My crew of 108 people more and more people are leaving we are down to only 23 people I share a tent with my friend Aica, Alexis, Daniel and Savannah. Savannah is leaving tomorrow to go home she will be the last one to leave for one more year then the rest of us go home.
~Time skip 3 days~
" I found something ", I screamed back to camp. My friends gather around me as I pulled a box that has a bunch of carving of demons on it out of the ground. " What is it", Daniel asked. " I think it some type of Jewelry box. But I don't know why it has the carvings. Maybe they put it on there as a warning." I said, " A warning of what though," Aica asked. " Who knows people back then believed the stupidest things," Daniel said because she knew that Aica believed in the same things the people of the area did. Aica smacked Daniel on the back of her head and told her " I don't mess with your beliefs don't mess with mine" she said in mean voice
We sat in the lad cleaning the box off and taking pictures of every inch of the box so you could see the carvings. It wasn't just demons there was angels fighting against them.
"Are you ready", I asked. " Yes" Aica said. I took the crowbar to were it look like was the lids edge. After a few time it flew open. " Look" I said. "There is writing in the inside of the lid, here," I said to Aica she is the only one who knew how to read it.
" Fools you didn't get my first warring. Well here now even if you want to you who opened the box is now cursed. No matter how hard you try you will never get rid of the Amulet. You get three wishes use it carefully or you might just get what you wish for. To make a wish put it on and hold it up and say I wish on the Moon Goddess then your wish. And whatever you do don't wish that you never found it or else." Aica read out loud.
"What Amulet" "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" they all screamed. "What's wrong?" I asked getting worried. Then Alexis stepped up and stuttered " T-the Amulet i-i-is there." she pointed to my neck. I looked down there was a gold Amulet with diamonds and jewels around a wolf. " What". I pull it off and looked at it in my hand.
" Well now you got three wishes" Daniel said with a smirk and shrugged her shoulders. Aica said" NO DON'T YOU DARE WISH," she shouted. " Did you not hear what I just said don't wish or it will turn out badly," Aica said taking it out of my hands and put it in the box and shut it. I looked her in the eyes and walked to the box and took it out and put it around my neck and said
"Its fake there is no such thing as magic. If there was then," I say holding it up," I wish on the Moon Goddess that I had a Monster," I said with a smirk. The two years of us being here they never managed not once to get us one can of Monster.
"I'm not going to be here when it comes" Aica says leaving. But as soon as she opens the door there stands a Mummy. They were screaming. I just walked up," Jason not funny," I say walking up and pulling the bandages of around the face but it wasn't him. The face was black and caved in. It was a weird looking old and wrinkling like it was decayed badly. I screamed and took the crowbar we just used it to kill it. "I told you", Aica said, "No this is not possible" Get rid of it now get rid of that thing now," Aica and I argued back and forth. Then Daniel screamed "SHUT UP NOW". She was holding it in her hand she put it down and took a hammer and slammed it over and over until it's in little pieces. " There" she said.
" Well I don't want it anymore," I said "Well you stuck with it until you make all three. You only have two more," Aica says. "Just make sure you use the wisely or not at all." Aica continues," I wouldn't use it at all if I were you," she finishes. "What no she should wish for money and for us to be out of here," Alexis said. " I agree," I said before I rose the piece in my hand and chanted the words and wished," I wish I had 10,000$," then I chanted the words again and wished " That we were no longer here," I wished. Nothing happened we went back to work we all of us but Aica she was praying that nothing bad would happen.
~Time skip 3 hours~
Still nothing has happened yet. We were all sitting around the hut Daniel was at the next town over getting us food we were waiting. I heard a knock on the door so I got up and opened the door to reveal a cop. " Daniel your friend got in a accident," he said in low sad voice. " She was hit by Airplane that crashed the company wants to pay you, I know it wrong but here it is 10,000$. I'm sorry for your lost, He said looking almost pale. I closed the door in silence. I went back to the room and told everyone what happened." SEE I TOLD YOU NOT TO BUT NO ONE LISTENS TO ME," Aica screamed," DON'T BLAME HER IT NOT HER FAULT" Alexis said. They started fighting then the phone rang it was Savannah. We all shut up. The Alexis got up and picked it up. She turned around her face pale.
~ Time skip 2 weeks~
Well we did get our wish. It wasn't Savannah but her brother telling us she died. She left her house to us. Aica left I haven't seen her since the day we got the phone call. Alexis and me moved into the house neither of us have talk since the call to anyone. I don't think I could live like this much longer.
~Time skip 3 weeks change of point of view ~
Hailley and Alexis died; they couldn't take the guilt anymore. My aunt Hailley left me everything, she has this cool looking box I'm going to try and open it today I wonder what's inside.
