The White Swordsman (An SAO Fanfic

The Beginning

I Bounced up and down in my seat, smiling ear to ear. Today was the day SAO, the first of a new type of video game, VRMMO. It was complete dive meaning you fight with your body, and I preordered a copy. The clock ticked to 4:00,

"I'm logging in!" I yell at my sister.

"Ok, just logout at 6:00, i'm making dinner!" she yelled back

the time SAO was released. I logged off of my computer, grabbed the sleek white Nerve-gear, the plastic sticking to my finger tips. I positioned the Nerve-gear over my head, leaned back into my bed and said "LINK START"

Dozens of colors passed in front of my view, then a login screen appeared. Then a login screen popped up. I filled it in, taking only a few seconds.

I need to level up i think as i near the exit, I stop when i see a large buster sword with a red handle, the blade as large as me gleaming bright as the sun. I want it I think and start running towards the exit. After running a good 500 feet i see a boar the color of midnight, it's tusks, the color of pearls and it's eyes redder than my blood. draw my sword, struggling a bit to unsheath it, run towards him, my lungs struggling to function and with all of my virtual strength I slash at the boar's head , to no effect! i look to my right to a red headed kid in a bandana, as he put his knife, the size of my forearm over his shoulder,the sword started glowing a deep red, he then sprinted, keeping his swords red and he slashed at the boar in front of him,as he attacked, his sword seemed to disperse its power into the boar, completely killing it! the boar turned into a thousand white crystals and vanished, leaving only a small screen saying what the kid earned from the fight. My distraction cost me, the few seconds that I spent looking at the bandana kid gave the boar enough time to close the distance and crash into me, I went flying,my health going from yellow to red,I then with a wince of pain, got back up. picked up my sword and then I took my sword in my right hand,my left supporting it and set it straight in front of me,then I felt a small electric feeling in my arms, the sword was slowly turning red! I then started running the opposite direction of the boar, making sure to keep the power in my sword, as I anticipated, the boar started chasing me, It started catching up, when I looked behind me, the boar was five feet behind me! I suddenly stopped, moved towards the right and stuck out my sword in front of the boar's path. In an instant, the boar disappeared, leaving only a white screen, showing what i've won.

At the end of my hunt, my health is in the last corner,I have 10000 col and 15 boar meat. I decide to check my stats. ( Level: 5 Agility: 15, Strength: 20, Speed: 17,Straight sword skill: 14, Curved Sword Skill: 0 Rapier Sword Skill: 0) pretty good .I decide to go to the market,with that beautiful buster sword. I go into the shop I saw the sword in, to be welcomed by a friendly NPC, with a smile, anticipating the stats of the sword I look at the features, ( Damage: 150, Speed:5, Mob-drop multiplier: 3), a little bummed at the slow speed I decide that it's more than made up in damage and mob-drop multiplier,which boosts the low-level drop quantity and rare high-level drop chance. I buy the sword, using all of my money. Then a bell tolls through the town of beginnings for a few minutes, no doubt being activated near me, the sound reverberating through my bones.I look outside to see two players, clearly in a party about to leave to hunt some animals, the second they step outside the exit, they completely covered in a blue light and then they disappear. I look down, at my hands, the same blue seems to be taking over my hands, like a virus, the blue goes up my entire body and whatever it comes in contact with, is completely gone, as if i'm being completely destroyed little by little. When the blue plague completely destroys me, I am re-constructed at the spawn point in the middle of the town of beginnings, I look around and it seems every player is spawned here probably just the opening ceremony i think. Then I look up, the sky seems to be filled with red WARNING: SYSTEM ANNOUNCEMENT labels. Then I look and see what seems to be blood oozing from the labels.
