"Let's head back" Shiro suggested.
"Shiro, are you..." Riven began. He nodded. She smiled. "I guess that's all you needed in the end."
"Thank god" Emi said.
"Let's go" Shiro said. The four of them left the spiritual garden and met up with the others. They told them about what had happened then they all returned home. Shiro sprawled himself onto his bed.
'That was worth doing,' he thought. 'I got to see Chelsea again!' After a couple minutes, Emi entered the room.
"Shiro, you're just laying around? It's only noon" she told him.
"I know." Shiro yawned. "But I think I'm done for today."
"We don't really have the time to spare."
"Why not?"
"Your mother will find a way to restore the barrier, even after Kaede's interference. We should at least move the house outside the barrier today."
"Okay, okay. Damn, I just wanted to relax." Emi tugged on his arm.
"We can relax after we move the house. It isn't even that hard or that much work" she told him. He got up.
"Fine." Shiro gave into Emi's demands. She smiled and left the room. Shiro joined her soon after, outside the house with everyone else. He went to the back of the house and was surprised to see Liliana there.
"How was your reunion with Chelsea?" she asked. Shiro shrugged.
"It was nice to see her again." Liliana smiled.
"I'm glad to hear" she said. Shiro nodded.
"Yeah." He looked at her and remembered when she attacked him a while ago. "You're not going to try to kill me now, are you?"
"No, silly. You would beat me easily now. You are quite strong" she told him.
"Power is nothing if I can't protect anyone." Shiro clenched his fists.
"You were so different." Shiro looked at Liliana, surprised and confused by what she said.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"When you weren't yourself." Shiro now remembered. After the deaths of Katarina and Chelsea, Shiro was put in a terrible depression. But now he's back to his old self, except that his demon eye had completely transformed into his old right eye, becoming the same sky-blue color as his left eye. It still had the ability to transform and create havoc though.
"I know." Shiro looked at the ground. "It should never happen again. I promise."
"Shiro, do you truly know what you want now?"
"Yeah. I'm over that world domination bullshit. I'm now focused on bringing peace to all three worlds." Shiro looked confident. Liliana smiled.
"Now that's the Shiro I know and love" she said. Shiro smiled then heard Emi yell "What's taking so long Shiro!?"
"Oh crap, I better shrink the house." Shiro approached the back panel and pressed a button that caused the house to shrink into a small cube. Shiro held the cube in his hand. "Let's go everyone!" They cheered. After that, they took the same path they used to travel to the garden to leave town, leading them to its outskirts.
"We might never return" Shiro told Kaede.
"I'll miss it there, Sensei" she replied.
"You can go back if you want."
"No! I rather stay with you Sensei!" Kaede insisted. Shiro smiled.
"I wouldn't want it any other way. Alright Emi, can we just stay here?" Shiro asked.
