Be a perfectionist. Strive for it. And striving, know that perfection isn't something you see, it's something you feel. It's not the meticulous grammer or elaborate vocabulary. It's having your story spill from you. Having it stream out of your consciousness as though using your ink and hand as a vessel for something from somewhere else. Write for the once upon a time a that started it all. That made you believe. That captured your imagination. Write so that after having told your story, you feel whole having told it. Complete. Content in the knowledge that the crevices and alleyways of your story, are where people will lose themselves. Write.
