*Dan's POV*
So here's to another better year, we've crossed a thin line don't try to hold us here. -A Day to Remember - NJ Legion Iced Tea
Work literally sucked, I hated walking into the old brewery everyday. I didn't have to fucking work here, I made enough money at the law firm my father owned, but I got irritated with him and his constant nagging. At least at the brewery I had time to drown myself in my thoughts.
Today, my father was upset with me because I had requested months off to travel to America and asked for an advance (which he properly gave me), but he was unhappy I was taking time off of work to do so. He always seemed unhappy I decided to board with a random stranger I didn't know, but who was he to tell me what I, a twenty four year old man, could do with myself?
I didn't have to listen to him, and in three days I would be leaving to see what my travels could offer me. I needed to get away from England. I had to get away from my father?
"What are you running away from Daniel?"
"You, dad. It's always you."
A/N this was short because I'm writing the next longer chapter where Dan has his travels now as we speak
