Beep. Beep. Beep.
My annoying alarm clock goes off and I open my eyes. Glancing at the clock, I realize I only have 15 minutes left until school starts so I better hurry.
I jump out of bed hesitantly and throw on my gray sweatshirt and an old pair of jeans. I slip on my vans and walk to the bathroom where I quickly brush my teeth and comb my hair.
I walk downstairs, skipping breakfast like always since I don't have time and throw my plain black backpack over my shoulder.
"Bye mom I love you!" I yell.
"Bye Alicia have a good first day!" My mom yells from upstairs and I walk out the front door. I walk to school since I can't drive. I'm only 14.
It was the first day at my new high school since my mom had to move from Washington to California for her work.
I was going to miss Washington, but I heard good things about Cali so I wasn't too worried.
I finally arrived at school. Taking a deep breath, I walk in.
