chapter 3

~Robert's p.o.v~

my heart stopped, I already knew what she was gonna say 'no, I wouldn't wanna ruin our friendship' I heard her sweet, caring, angelic voice say in the back of my head. I really liked her alot. but I was too afraid to let her know how I felt. because it would be awkward if she didn't have the same feelings for me, which more than likely, she didn't. I gave Austin a disappointed look and walked off to another table. I sat down and sighed in exasperation. I could hear Austin talking. his words were more of a mumble so I couldn't exactly understand what he was saying. all I could take through was

" Sophia, please just go talk to him. it'll only take a second!" I could feel Sophia walking towards me. soon I could feel her warm breath hitting my cold skin.

"you okay?" she asked and sat down next to me

" uhh, yeah, I guess." I avoided making any eye contact... her eyes were blue and green...turquoise! they were beautiful. but every time I looked at them I liked her so much more. I guess you could say they were my weakness!

"look, Robert, I really like you, alot," she started.

" And I'd love to be your girlfriend." a small grin grew on my face, I honestly couldn't believe those words came out of her mouth. she had the same feelings I had for her! She liked me! Alot! at this point I feel like the happiest person alive!

"But, I want you to make that happen. not now, but maybe later. and I would gladly say yes. and if something doesn't turn out as I planned, I just want you to know that you are such an amazing Guy, any girl would be so lucky to have you" my smile grew big! I can't believe this!! my smile was now so big that my mouth and cheeks had began hurting!

"okay, but this isn't a joke or just something to make me feel good about myself...right?" I thought for sure this was all a lie and just something to make me feel better! I mean, how could a gorgeous girl like her be attracted to me, even in the smallest way? I'm not gonna lie, I'm not the most attractive person ever!

" no Robert, I meant what I said, I'm just waiting for you to make me your girlfriend!" she smiled at me. a warm sincere smile. I knew she wasn't lying. she hugged me tight. I loved the sweet smell of her candy scented perfume. how could life get any better at this point? I guess 11:11 wishes do come true...
