This is a school assignment and I just wanted to put it up for fun. So please no mean comments. Thank you. :)
I finally knocked him out. He was lying on the floor with blood dripping from his mouth. That son of a bitch had cut me with a knife and the cut was not far away from my eye. I pulled him up to sitting position against the wall so I could go through his pockets to see if he had any other weapons on him to use on the police later. I didn't find anything, so I pulled out my phone. His men wouldn't be unconscious for much longer so I called the police, told them where I was and quickly got out of there. When I finally reached the stairs to leave the underground territory, someone grabbed my arm from behind. I spun around and saw a tall man with brown hair and blue eyes standing there with a smirk on his lips.
“Where do you think you're going?” He asked taking a step closer. I quickly got out of his grip, pulled out my gun and directed it to his face. He took a step back with his hands in the air.
“Whoa, sorry for scaring you little person.” All the adrenaline was still in motion after knocking out the man who cut me. Before the tall man in front of me could make another move, I knocked him to the ground and twisted his arms to his back.
“Nobody calls me little person.” I hissed in his ear. “You're holding me back so don't even think about following me.” I released my grip and stood up straight. The tall man turned on the floor and our eyes met. He looked up on me with the same annoying smirk as before.
“You're disgusting me.” I said. Before I went up the stairs I turned around and hissed:
“If I see you one more time, I promise that I will rearrange your face.” Then I ran up the stairs to my car.
During that night I had a dream about the tall man with blue eyes. My mind kept playing the scene from earlier. The way he smirked at me and me knocking him to the ground. That scene was repeating again and again. Then, I suddenly woke up in the middle of the night from someone knocking on my door. When I realized I wasn't dreaming, I got out of bed to see who it was. The clock on the wall said 03:17 am. Who the hell comes to visit me at this hour? I didn't have many friends. All of them were my co-workers. Someone like me don't really have friends outside work. People find me scary and dangerous. I couldn't really blame them though.
I opened the door and saw him standing there. Tall with the bright blue eyes looking directly at me.
“What the hell are you doing here?” was the first thing coming out of my mouth.”How do you know where I live?”
In return I got that annoying smirk.
“I need to talk to you.” He said. He walked passed me and waited for me to close the door. I knew he wanted me to close it but I kept it open. I didn't want him in my apartment. I didn't want him in my life in any way.
“I don't remember asking you to come inside.” I said with a cold tone in my voice. He chuckled as an answer and went to look for the living room. Apparently he didn't find me scary at all. Well, that didn't help my confidence. I closed the door with a sigh and followed him. I didn't want him to look around to much because he wasn't going to get used to this place. Once he found the living room, he sat down on the couch and stared at me. I sat down in the armchair in front of him.
“Just tell me whatever it is you need to say.” I said, annoyed at his presence.
“First of all, I want an apology.” He smiled mischievously at me. Somehow he knew just how to annoy me.
“Why should I apologize to you?” I asked.
“You knocked me to the ground remember?” Oh, right. I did.
