Have you ever heard the saying that there is someone else the same as you but different, well this is my story of when I met my other self that was a mermaid.
It was about 2001, I was about 16 and I when on a school trip to a aquarium to see the animals then do a recount on it the next day. Yeah, just don't worry bout that.
As I walked into the aquarium, I felt a sudden erg to get closer to the giant tank,
"Where are you going, Anna, there's nothing in that tank"
Then I snapped out of it,
"it was kinda like I was hypnotised and had my body being controlled by someone"
"Wow, desaveu"
"What do you mean, desaveu?"
"That's strange, last time I took you here for your 11 birthday, you said that exact same thing, don't you remember Anna?"
"Hehe, sorry I don't remember ever saying that"
"No, it's alright, I never thought you would"
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?"
"I don't know what your talking about, are you imaging me saying stuff that I don't want you know hear?"
We laughter until we realised that the group had left, we ran for while until we heard,
"Anna, Haley, Hannah, Bailey, why aren't you three with the group.
"Sorry mrs Burton"
We all said that at once. I loved it when we did that because it made me, well all of us, feel happy and made us even bigger friends.
"Ok classes, you can go explore now, but don't get lost"
"Ok mrs Burton"
As I Wilkes off I saw Nicole make her way into the food room, but it didn't surprise me, anyway, I walked up to the giant tank that was walking to earlier on, when I got there I put my hand onto the glass, then all of a sudden a via like human swam up to the glass and put her hand onto the glass on top of mine, she looked just like me but with a fish tail and not two legs, she had the same flower, bracelets, hair, necklaces, earrings, her top was the same as the top of the dress I was wearing.
"HEY, GET AWAY FROM THERE!"
I turned around and saw a ran running towards me, he seemed angry, when he got to me he slapped the glass and she swam down to the bottom of the tank,
"Your not allowed to see the creature in this ta-"
I had cut him off,
"Why did you do that, she's beautiful and she likes me, and I like her, you just scared her away, you idiot"
I was angry at him for what he had done.
