CHAPTER 1
Do you know how it feels to be young?
Oh I love it!
My dad would always want to have time with us everywhere and anywhere in the Philippines. And this time we are going to...
Camiguin Island!
Of course! It's in Mindanao. Medyo malayo nga, kasi we need to take a plane and several rides to reach the place. Pero para sa akin it would be really fun.
And oh!! Nakikita ko na ang Mt. Hibok Hibok. It is known to its form na parang babae na nakahiga.
Boooot..Booooooot..
And that's it. Welcome to Camiguin Island.
"Mam, van mam."
"Sir, para aha mo?", "Motor mam, motor sir."
And to whatever those words mean, na tantya ko ay yun ang dialect ng mga tao dito.
"Ate yung bag mo!
"Oh there it is. Daniela and David grab your stuffs. Anjan na ang van ng resort na tutuloyan natin.", and with that cue ni daddy, abah alam ko simula na ito ng kakaibang experience dito sa island.
We were on the road na at panay na ang click ko sa camera. I couldn't stop taking pictures from the beauty of nature. Ang ganda ng dagat nila dito ang linaw and very blue.
As we were approaching the gate of the resort dun ko na na feel na gusto ko na ring magpahinga. Hmmmmm what would my room be like here in our stay?
"We would like to take the rooms na nireserve ko miss.", and that's my dad, planado lahat ng bagay.
"Can I have your name sir?''
"Damian L. Guillermo. A week ago na reservation yun miss. Thank you.", paliwanag ni dad.
"Here is the key sir. Sasamahan po kayo ni Jeffrey sa room niyo.", Jeffrey referring to the guy who is working at the resort in which at that moment ay naglilinis ng swimming pool.
There were 3 beds insidde the room. Para ngang bahay yun eh. There's another door wherein andun nakalagay ang isang bed. Of course dad chose to be in there. Ang maganda pa dito, we can cook dahil may kitchen ito. Everything is complete.
Ring....Ring...
"Hello mahal.", that was dad's phone ringing. Sari-sari ang narinig ko while he was on phone.
