4:30 am and the alarm was ringing. I fell on my bed and started to scream.
"Waaaaah! I hate this, new school, new society, I miss my old classmates. Pero no choice of course" I said to myself.
Biglang kumatok si daddy at binuksan ang pinto.
"Magsigising na kayo, malalate kayo sa school, first day niyo sayang naman kung malate pa kayo, bilisan niyo na. May pasok pa ako"
Bumangon ako and prepared my clothes my bag and get my towel and went inside the bathroom to take a bath pagkatapos kong maligo at magbihis I went downstairs to eat breakfast at laking gulat ko nang dumating si tita sa bahay. Well I felt relieved and expect that she will drive us to school, I assumed a lot, hindi pala. So I waited for my brother then went and traveled.
Sobra akong kabado then suddenly I remembered what my dad had told me, pupunta akong school to study and not to focus on silly things that's why pagkababa ko palang ng tricycle, dire-diretso akong pumuntang "Bulwagan" (yun ang tawag nila sa gym, I dunno) I walked like exhausted and asked an officer kung saan ang Grade 8 at biglang may sumulpot na babae her name was "Mimi" a transferee like me. So moving on, I lined up sa boys na pila unconciously and Mimi told me na there pala so it was pretty awkward and I started talking on my mind.
What the f*ck is wrong with you Katie? Urrrgggh! Make yourself refine, don't worry about your new classmates staring at you, insecure lang sila! Haaay wag ganto, you're rude. Don't be too serious. I was out of the blue when suddenly one guy catched up my attention. His name was "Joey" my old sacristan crush, he was studying on the low profile called Night High School while I am studying on the Day High School.
Well me, umiwas lang ako ng tingin sa kanya. And kept on being quiet and wala, flag ceremony on that day was the worst. Not literally na panget, of course naninibago lang ako to rephrase from what I've said.
We were lining up properly hanggang sa umabot na kami to our classrooms and when we went inside syempre pinatabi ko si Mimi sa akin, she was the first friend i've met on that time and suddenly all of us were arranged on seats my the first letter on our last names, ibig sabihin in-arrange kami A-Z and alternate like boy-girl-boy-girl. The nerves! Gladly, a girl at the left of mine, was friendly at talked to me, she thought that Mimi and I were friends before.
"Ngayon ko lang siya nakilala" I said,
"Aah Okay" she replied.
Then she started to introducing herself to me,
"Ako nga pala si Mikaela Grace Natividad or Mika for short, and you are?" she asked.
"Ahh.. ako nga pala si--"
Biglang may pumasok at nagsisisigaw sila na may tao. May isang babae na nagbigay ng papel kay sir, at yun ang attendance namin.
"Okay students, ang hawak ko ay ang attendance record at bawat apilido na ibabanggit ko ay magsisimulang magpakilala sa kanyang sarili. Maliwanag ba yun?" Sir asked.
Well all together said, "Opo". And it was my time to shine I introduced myself, "My name is Kassandra Tiara
