Child filled with joy
An endearing smile like no other
So full of life
A bounce in every step
Laughter ringing clear
Where are you now darling child?
All I see is bitterness
Contempt in your eyes
Anger in every step
Fury in your words
But what is behind that mask you wear?
Anger is gone
Sadness is left
Loneliness creeping in
Despair taking hold
Life so dim
What happened to you?
