Liam had woken me up a couple of times last night to resume making love with me. And the best part of it is, I can remember each and every time he brought me to heaven.
I felt a weight push down on me and I stretched, searching. Until I heard my name being called did I open my eyes to see my husband scowling at me.
"What?" I mumbled, exhasperated.
"You need to get up. I can't have you laying down all day."
I gasped, "Oh crap." I looked around for a clock, "What time is it?"
His scowl grew deeper, "I hope you don't talk like that in public. People will become suspicious of you."
"Okay, I know for a fact that you have pocketwatches in this century." I smiled trying to lighten the mood...and failed.
"I meant that women don't use vulgarity in company."
"In company?" I whipped aside the blankets and hopped onto the floor, fully aware that I was still naked, "You're my husband, not company. And, what do you think? I'm stupid?"
"You could've fooled me."
He turned and was about to leave before I stopped him by grabbing his arm. "What happened? Why are you acting like this?"
He looked me up and down, then with a disgusted expression, he said, "Get dressed, it's indecent.
I pulled my hand away and jammed them on my hips, "Indecent, huh?" I was getting real angry now, "You didn't think it was too 'indecent' when you were moving inbetween my legs!"
He clenched his fists and the energy in the air started to gather and I knew that he was as mad as I was, "It's never indecent between a harlot's legs."
I felt the energy of my magic try to rise to the surface and panicked. It's too early this time. I had two more weeks to take care of this. "Oh no." I couldn't let it come out. If anyone within twenty feet of me came near, they'd be blasted with raw energy and who knows what would happen to them.
After quick thinking I twirled around grabbed a robe and transported out of the mansion. After a quick sweep,I found a lush and sufficiently shrouded forest, with my enhanced senses. I slipped on my robe and after another sweep, I let the magic blast freely out.I threw out my arms wide, arched my back and screamed, like I always do, from the pain of never using my magic. My body started to levitate while brilliant flashes of color were lashing out everywhere like a light show and through my pained gaze I noticed that it started seeping into the ground and the surrounding foliage.
Evangeline, a voice I didn't recognize spoke. I turned my head to the side where I sensed a presence and replied.
Don't get too close.
Evangeline, you're dying.
Nice observation, captain obvious.
You need to control your magic.
"I can't." I moaned aloud.
Yes you can and I'll help you.
How?
Concentrate on the flow of your magic and try to stop it...kind of like putting a stopper on it.
Putting a stopper? The suggestion was laughable but I was too desperate not to try it. I closed my eyes and imagined a stream, at the end was a waterfall and at the bottom was a villiage that was going to get destroyed, namely England, and I had to stop it. Great. How do you stop a waterfall? Dammit! Effing fucktard. A dam. Smiling to myself, I imagined a dam at the end of the waterfall and water canals leading to the village,so that the people could freely use the water.
