The dream submerged me in flashes of images. Memories that belonged to someone else. An unknown spectator of sorts. The sharpest most frequency image was a young beautiful blonde woman. Her skin was a flawless milky white, her eyes were a deep ocean blue, and her hair was as golden as the sun and hanging just above her elegant shoulders. She wore a pale blue cotton dress decorated with dozens of the tiniest sea-shells hanging lightly off her train. But what really caught my eye was a necklace she wore around her neck. It was a simple silver chain that held a single teardrop shaped golden gem. A baby ,that the woman currently held in her arms, had the chain wrapped around her little finger. The baby herself was quite a cutie herself. She had a little tuft of pure coal black hair, the same flawless white skin, but unlike her mother this child had bright warm green eyes. The woman smiled down at the laughing baby in her arms. This was a perfect moment that was interrupted by a man who honestly gave me the creeps. He had shifty eyes, pointy villain mustache, and a old-school solider or maybe sailor outfit. The man leaned down and whispered something harshly into the woman's ear. The woman sadly nodded in agreement and pulled the baby into a long loving hug and kissed her gently on her head. She then wrapped the baby up in a nearby fluffy blanket. With tears in her eyes she pulled the necklace off and placed it carefully in the baby's hands. She pulled the babe up for one more hug she whispered something softly in the baby's ear. The woman handed the baby to the man who ran off into the night.

Wait what?!?! What happened to the baby? Who was this woman? Where did the man take her? So many questions filled my overactive restless head. For some reason I felt an over-welling amount of grief at the scene I just watched. I slowly reached up to my tear streaked cheeks. Why am I crying? I don't know this people but for some reason I couldn't hold back the tears.

I felt myself wake from the bizarre dream but I left my eyes shut enjoying the sudden swaying sensation. My bed was oddly softer than usual and smelled like sea-salt. I opened one eye and saw a white canopy that reminded me of a sail-boat sail. But on the canopy was little fabric boats, waves, and fish that were moving all around. Ok, I thought while sitting up, that was weird. I looked around the room and figured out I wasn't at home. There was a sudden knock at a very old looking door. Curious I got up and realized I was in a cotton white nightgown. A few things about this bothered me. One I don't wear nightgowns. Ever. Two white is so not my color. Three somebody else dressed me which is a little creepy. I cringed as I walked to the door.

"Who is it? I called looking around for a weapon. You never know if somebody wants to kill you and I wasn't taking any chances. There was an antique lamp on a wooden desk not to far from me but it looked just too pretty to break so I decided to take my chances.

"Xan. I'm here to show you around the ship." Oh yeah. I remembered my sudden entrance to a strange land and currently traveling on a ship that looked like it just stepped out of Pirates of the Caribbean but without a sexy Johnny Depp captain. And I was traveling with a really hot guy with awesome silver hair and great style. But he did kinda kidnap me and I really don't like kidnappers.

"I don't know Xan I have no idea where I am." Or when I am. I really should have studied time travel. Then this whole thing might have made a little more sense. I heard him sigh.

"Let me in and I'll explain everything." I thought about it for a minute.

"Bring me breakfast." Hey if he wanted in he would have to work for it and I was hungry. He laughed then said something to someone. A minute later he knocked again.

"Room service for miss Evza Delaney." Food. I yanked open the door and there he was in all his silver haired glory. Today he was wearing another puffy white shirt but not as puffy as yesterday. Plain black vest, matching black pants, and black shoes with shiny gold buttons. Also today he had his hair pulled back in an oddly attractive pony tail. He stepped forward and looked down at my outfit. "White is definitely your color." I smacked his head. He laughed and set the tray on a old wooden chest next to my new favorite lamp. He then sat down on a light brown comfy looking love-seat. I walked over to the chest and before I could even drool Xan whistled to get my attention. I turned and gave him the 'really' look and turned back to the food. "Don't you want to know where you are before breakfast?" I stuck my tongue at him and pulled a random wooden chair to the chest. I grabbed a roll and waved my hand at him to continue.
