I ran through the Forest as fast as I could. I was holding the opposing teams flag. "Audrey set me up" I thought. As I ran two Ares Children appeared behind me. "Crap" I said out loud. Just then I heard a yell. "Cass, throw the flag!" This was my best friend Alex. She was a daughter of Aphrodite, though she didn't act like it. "What!!""Are you crazy!?" I asked. " You heard me! Throw the flag to me!"" Shelly and Matt are after you!" She screamed. Frantically I threw the flag. Alex caught it right as Shelly tackled me. I fell to ground in a blur. I felt pain shoot through my leg."Alex RUN!" I screamed. "Shut your trap" Shelly said in a killing tone. I saw a dagger that on her hip and I had an idea."Why, are you going to stab me with you dagger?!" I ask. " If you don't- " She didn't even have time to say "shut up" I grabbed her dagger and stabbed her through the arm. I ran before she could catch me again. Actually my run was more of a limp. I ran over to our base to see if Alex was there. "We won!" Alex yelled. She came to hug me. I collapsed right when she touched me. Chiron came over to congratulate our team and to declare the game over. With a sharp blast of his horn I felt the pain I my leg subside and we went back to camp.
