Chapter 6

*Kennedi's P.O.V*

    "Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt," I repeated over and over, my legs laying across his lap. "Oh my god. What?", he asked, eyes wider with slight frustration. "Where are we goin'?", I asked, smiling innocently. "You said my name a million times just to ask me where we're going? You're such a dork." I pouted and huffed,"I'm not a dork!" I pulled my legs from his lap and sat with my arms crossed, staring out the window. "Ugh, babe. You know what I meant..." I continued to look away and saw Jimmy making faces at me from the front seat, in the passenger seat mirror. I tried to hold in a laugh, but a small one escaped anyways. Jimmy smiled triumphantly and Matt rolled his eyes, laying his head in my lap. "I'm sorry, Love. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." I smiled down at him and ran my fingers through his hair. "It's okay, lovely." I made a face and he looked up at me curiously. "Where are we going?", I asked once again. "You'll just have to wait and find out." I tapped my foot to the tempo of the music on the radio, humming softly. Matt put his hand on my knee and turned onto his side, lightly rubbing my leg with his thumb.

    I sighed softly and leaned my head against the window, watching the rain as it fell on the blacktop. Matt touched my cheek softly with the back of his index finger as he stared at me. I turned my head to face him and smiled lazily. "Sleepy?", he asked. I nodded and yawned softly, leaning my head back against the window. "Sleep then, my love," he whispered in my ear as I closed my eyes and nodded once again.

    I stirred at the sensation of being lifted up. "Shh.. Sleep, sweetie," I heard Matt say. He kissed my head and hugged me closer to his body. I yawned and fell asleep once more.

    "Shut up, man. She's sleeping." - "Sorry, sorry. I forgot." - "Well shut the hell up." - "Yes dear!". I smiled slightly at the sound of Matt and Jimmy whisper yelling and Brian muffling his laughter. "Shut up! Jesus!". I rolled over and sat up slowly, rubbing my eyes and yawning. "Look what you did! You woke her up!", Matt whisper yelled. "Matt, you can stop whispering now," I smiled. "I tried, sweetie. I did." I chuckled and climbed out of the bed. "Where are we?", I asked as I did a once over on the room around me. "Hard Rock," Brian answered with an excited tone as he bounced up and down slightly in his seat. "Which Hard Rock?", I asked. "The Nevada one," Jimmy answered this time. "You're telling me we're in Las Vegas?", I asked amazed. "Yes'm," Matt smiled. "Woah. You're joking," I got out of the bed quickly and ran to the curtains and ripped them open. "Well, why the hell are we in here then?", I asked, grinning. Jimmy, Brian and Matt laughed, Johnny and Zacky walking out of the other room attached. "Let's go somewhere!", I squealed. The boys rolled their eyes and chuckled, nodding and getting up. "Let's go to the Casino!", Brian said. I nodded and danced around until everyone was moving toward the door. Grabbing my purse and checking myself in the mirror quickly, we headed out the door.

    "Ma'am, and what can I get for you?", the waiter asked. I hummed and nibbled on my lip. "I'll take the Chipotle Chicken Flatbread with Avocado, please." He nodded and scribbled it down. "I'll be back with your food shortly." I looked over at Matt and grinned. "This is amazing. I've never been to Vegas before. I've actually never been anywhere but home." He smiled and caressed my hand gently. "I'm so glad you're happy. Just think, we can take you wherever you want to go. Come on tour with is and we'll take you across the world. Europe, South America, Asia, places most people only dream of going to." I squealed happily and brought his hand to my cheek. "This is the happiest I've ever been!"

    "Yes, this is Kennedi. What? What do you mean I'm said to be 'missing'? Who called for you to check on me?" I blanched as the officer told me who had filed me as a missing person. "H-he did? Kai huh? Well, I'm fine. Tell him I'm fine. Yes, thank you. Goodbye." I sank against the wall in the bathroom and took a deep breath. Kai filed me as missing? Why? He doesn't care. But if he really didn't care, why would he say something... There was a knock at the door that snapped me out of my thoughts. "Y-yeah". I cleared my throat and Matt's voice came from the other side. "You okay in there?" I sighed softly and ran my hand through my hair, mumbling quietly,"I don't know.. I don't know."
