"Why that way?" I asked.

"Because," he started, "the way I came from had the prison cells, right? So nearby, there must be the central control room. Let's go find it shall we?"

"Uh, Doctor," said Rory, "What do we do when we get to the control room? How do we stop them?"

"We need to figure out what they want first, Rory."

"Right, but -"

"Quiet! We're here." The Doctor held up a finger and peeked around the corner. He looked back at us and signaled to move - slowly.

We snuck down the corridor in silence.

"What are you gonna do when we get there?" Rory asked the Doctor, quietly.

The Doctor glanced over his shoulder at us. "Really, Rory, I thought you'd have learned by now: I don't have a plan yet." He grinned and looked ahead again. We were approaching the end of the corridor. The Doctor stopped and turned around. He smiled.

"This is it guys." He said.

He looked at Amy. "Ready?"

She nodded.

The Doctor turned to Rory. "Ready?"

Rory hesitated, and then nodded.

Finally, the Doctor turned to me. "Ready?"

I thought for a second. I could die here. I might never see my parents again. But then I remembered, I wasn't who I originally thought I was. I wasn't human. If I died here, I could regenerate. And the people I thought were my parents might not be my parents at all.

"Sarah?" The Doctor interrupted my thoughts. He looked at me uncertainly. "Are you ready?"

"Yes."

"Then here we go."

And we stepped, together, on to the main flight deck.

For the second time today, I was surprised that we weren't instantly surrounded. Looking around, I realised that it was because none of the Krillitanes had noticed us - yet. We ducked down behind some machinery to avoid being noticed.

The Doctor frowned. "What are they doing?" He peeked out from behind the computer thing.

"Didn't you find out anything from the Krillitanes you saved Rory and I from?" Amy asked.

"They said they needed me... but they didn't say what for. And they constantly told me that I couldn't beat them. I didn't believe them."

"One told me." I said. . "What they needed, one told me." I almost forgot to talk quietly.

One slip up and we'd most likely be killed.

The other three looked at me. "After Amy and Rory ran off, I ... I used my superior wit to get it to tell me what it wanted. It said it needed to know the secrets of the universe, and the only way to do that was through the Doctor, cos he was the 'Last TimeLord' and all. I was deeply offended. But how can they get you to tell them? And what secrets of the universe? There are a lot of them you know."

"Probably all of them. But listen, I'll be able to reason with them! I'll-" he started, but I cut him off. "Doctor, you can't reason with them and you know it. The only way to get out of here, alive, and save people and ourselves from certain death is the oil."

He frowned. I knew he didn't like having to kill the Krillitanes, but I also knew that he knew I was right. "Alright."

"The Krillitane oil! It's gotta be here somewhere..." I looked around. My gaze landed on the machinery beside me. I stared at it for a while. Then I looked back at the Doctor. "That's not just a computer is it?"

He grinned. Of course. He'd already worked it out hadn't he? "Nope. It's got oil in it. As far as I know, it controls where the oil goes."

"What do you mean, 'where the oil goes'?" Rory asked.

"Well, they have to get rid of it somehow." The Doctor said, turning to him. "They can't just store it all up. It would practically overflow the ship. No, they pump it out, into space, where the nothingness compresses it into more nothingness."

"So? How does that help us?" Amy asked, impatiently.

"We can control where it goes too. Instead of pumping it into the openness of space, we pump it through the water systems."

"Krillitanes drink water?" Rory asked.

"Everyone drinks water Rory."

"I know, but I never thought ... it's just ... they're aliens... and ..."

"I'm an alien, don't you think I drink water?"

"Uh, guys? Priorities?" I interrupted.

"Yes. Priorities. Quite right. The only way to get to the controls would be to go around and do it manually. Unfortunately, if we did that, we would most likely be caught and killed instantly. Well, it would be the only way if we weren't us."

"Are you gonna use the sonic?" I asked.

The Doctor looked slightly disappointed that. "How did you know?"

"Let me think. How many people do I know that have a sonic screwdriver? Hmmm... "

He grinned. "Fair enough. Now, before I activate it, I want you three to go back to the TARDIS."

"No way." Said Amy.

"Not a chance." Said Rory.

"Not happening." I said.

"Listen, you have to! I don't know whether or not the oil is toxic to us too!" The Doctor said in frustration.

"How many times, Doctor? We're not leaving you!" Amy said.

The Doctor looked at me. It was a pleading look. It clearly said, "Get them out of here."

"Guys, he's right. None of us know if it's dangerous to us. Besides, there will be some Krillitanes who don't get hit by the oil, and they'll come after us. We need to go." I told them. They agreed reluctantly and we left the Doctor.

We ran as quietly as we could back down the corridors to the TARDIS. As soon as we entered, I ran to the console. A few button pushes later, I had the main security cameras on the screen. After we looked for a little, we spotted the Doctor. We watched as he sonicked the controls on the computer we'd been hiding behind. The effect was immediate; we saw Krillitanes all over the ship on other screens cringing as the oil touched their skin. Back on the Doctor's screen, we saw him running down corridors, appearing on one screen as he disappeared off another. Suddenly, he disappeared off all screens. For a moment we all panicked, but then the door opened and the Doctor stepped in, closing the door and leaning against it.

"Well," he said, "That's that then. They're gone and we're leaving." He looked at me. "You're going home." Then he went around the console, setting coordinates and such.

"What? Going home? No I'm not! Who decided that?!" I babbled.

"Oh, not forever. Just ... because."

"Because what?"

"Because."

I glared but didn't ask further questions. I knew he wouldn't tell me.

Amy, on the other hand, seemed to have other ideas. "Doctor, she asked you a question. You should give her a proper answer. And if you're not going to give HER a proper answer," she paused, "you'd better tell me. Or else."

The Doctor looked up. His face was serious, but his eyes were laughing. "I'm not telling anyone anything. And how are you going to make me? Remember: you can't play games with me. Ah, we've landed. Out you go Sarah. There's someone waiting for you."

I frowned and walked as slowly as I could out the door. Who could be waiting for me? My question was answered as I stepped out.

The person standing there was probably the person who gave me the biggest shock I've had in my entire life.

"What are you doing here?" I asked rudely.

The person grinned. "Take me with you!"
