Hope woke up in her room she felt stiff, like she hasn't moved in months. Hope didn't know what to do she was confused on so many levels so she decide to jump in the shower. When she felt the hot water hit her face it was like she's never been warm. She couldn't understand how she felt so weak from fainting. When she opened the bathroom door she heard the phone ring. She waited a while to see if her mom was there to pick it up. She heard no movement downstairs. So she ran to her mother's room and picked up the phone. 'Hello'
'Hi Hope it's me Ethan!'
'Err hi Ethan h-how did you get my number' hope asked concerned
'Oh one of your friends gave me your number. Anyway I was wondering if I could take you out to the cinemas or something.' He asked.
'Yeah sure is it alright if I bring some friends'
'Err yeah sure; I've got to go now I'll tell you when bye'
He ended the phone call. Hope was left with the phone to her ear 'bye then' Hope put down the phone and went to her to get change in to her jeans and purple blouse. When she went downstairs she found a note from her mother on the kitchen table it said.
'I've got some work to do and I might be a little late home. Dinners in the fridge just heat it up. Don't go out today you shouldn't go out but if you do make sure someone goes with you like Dominic he's a nice young man. Love you honey. Hope had to smile when she saw the note she loved her mom so much she was like her best friend. As she went to get something to eat there was a knock at her door. She jumped and her drink dropped to the floor. She looked at the mess then she was ready to clean it up but the person at the door was impatient and they knocked at the door again. She rushed to the door and opened it, Standing there was Dominic it must have been raining hard because he looked drenched but he still looked good, his hair was running in his eyes but he looked very good. He gave her a cheeky smile, her legs were shaking and she felt like she was going to faint.
'hi are you going let me in or am I going to stay out here in the rain and freezing cold' he said with a smile in his voice. She couldn't get her words out so he just stepped out of the way and let him in. she shut the door behind him and walked into the kitchen and he was right behind her. She forgot all about the drink that she had spilt on the floor dropped on her bottom. She looked back to see Dominic laughing at her but he was walking towards her to help her up, When he touched her he stopped laughing and just looked at her for a long time. She felt her faces burning she had to look away. He helped her up and pulled her in close it was a quick hug but she knew it meant something to him.
She was wiping the mess off the floor when there was a loud thump upstairs Hope looked up at Dominic who was looking up towards the ceiling, He looked back down at her. 'is your mom here' he asked she could hear the concern in his voice. She couldn't trust her voice so she shook her head. He nodded and headed towards the stairs, Hope followed him to the stairs he turned to her and put his fingers to his lips and headed up the stairs he went to her room first since it was the only door on the left. he opened the door and looked inside. He took his time looking just in cases he missed something he shook his head and closed the door. He was on his way to the bathroom when something struck him and knocked him down. Hope didn't know what happened everything was moving too fast. Next thing she was being pulled further up the stairs and into her mother's room, she felt sharp pulling pain pulling at her roots. The pain was released from her hair. She heard a click and she knew it was the locks on the door locked. She felt the fear escaping and now she was really scared.
When she looked up someone in a mask was standing over her but she could tell that this mysterious person was male because their shoulders where broad and they had a masculine jaw line. 'What- what do you want' Hope asked she could hear the shock and horror in her voice. She was shaking she didn't know what do the only thing she could do was look at him. He bent down towards her and she could feel his breathe on her face.
