Don't Let Go

Alexa's POV

Hi there my name is Alexa Rose McGuiness. I am 16 years old and a Sophmore in highschool. I like to play softball and talk to people. I have two older brothers one you may know as Jay McGuiness from The Wanted. We are nothing a like. He can sing while i sound like a tone deaf whale, he has curly brown hair while i have wavy brown hair, also we hate each other but that story is for another time. I also have an brother who is older then both of us Ashton he is 26 and is a Coast Guard so basically he saves people who are drowning in the ocean. He has been gone for about 3 weeks and i miss him so much.

" Alexa wake up. Josh and Paula are here." i heard my mom yell. Today i am going out on a fishing trip with them like far out. I put on my black bikni and through on jean shorts and a tank top over it. I left with them and we were on our way.

" Alexa we are going to pick up drake." said Paula.

" haha i don't like him we are just friends." i said smiling. We picked him up then were blastign music and speeding to the place. Every since Ashton left i have been reckless before i was basically a goody goody. We got there and went on the boat and the captain was real cool.

" Guys this is amazing i can't believe how far out we are." i said tanning on the roof with the boys fish. It was a good sunny day but i guess i spoke to soon because it started to pour.

" Guys! It is a big storm we gotta try to head back." said the captain. We all sat at the bottom with towels on and it was really scary.

" Captain the boat is leaking!" yelled Drake.  I remembered i need to relax and not freak out. The water was freezing, Paula and I were holdign on to each other while the guys were helping the captain. The boat moved back and forth real bad and the boat was sinking real fast too.

"LOOK A HELICOPTER!" yelled Paula. I looked and saw it was the coast guard. I was reliefed but it was still bad the storm. 

" I'm here to help you i'm Ashton and i'm a coast guard." said my brother. He looked at me and he had a horrified look on his face.

" Alexa are you okay?" he asked. I nodded my head then he started to get them up.

" Ashton let me go last i'll be fine." i said.

" Okay help me get them up." he said. I nodded my head and we got Paula, Drake and Josh up then we were about to go when Ashton got a call.

" Ashton to many people up here we are sending another helicopter out." he said. Ashton said okay then he looked at me and gave me a hug.

" Ashton i'm scared." i said into his chest. The rain was pouring on us.

" It's okay Alexa we are going to get out okay. I love you so much." we sat that then we heard the helicopter. They send the rope down and then Ashton hooked us both on. We were on our way up when we felt a deep drop. Ashton looked and saw the rope breaking.

" It's not gonna hold us both." he said.

" What.. wait what are you doing!?" i yelled as i saw him un hook his thing. 

" No Ashton. We are both making it out alive. " i said trying to stop him.

" Alexa i would rather die saving you then anyone else. I love you." he said.

" Aston don't let go." i said but it was too late. Ashton let go and fell about 45 feet high into the water.

" ASHTON!!!" i yelled. They pulled me up and grabbed me. I was looking off the edge.

" He's gone. He is a brave soul. May he rest in peace." said the people. I was crying when i landed. They said they called my family. I walked out and saw my mom and dad and i hugged them.

" I'm so happy your are okay. I just can't believe he is gone but all i gotta say is atleast he saved you." she said smiling at me.

 " Um someone is here to see you." she said crying. I looked behind her and saw a curly hair boy standing there. I started to cry more as i walked up to my brother.

" Jay." i said crying.

Hi so what do you think of the first chapter? This story is comign soon but i wrote the first chapter because i had the idea in my head so i wrote it to remember it! I hope you like it a lot.
