The day came as the night quickly passed. My alarm blared "Lean On" as the time said 6:00 am.
"Ugh," I groaned. I don't want to go to work. I covered my head back up with my blanket as my cats, Binx and Benji jumped up on me to wake me up for food.
"Meow," they squealed, as if saying Good morning, Mommy. Time to feed me.
I poured out their food and they both started eating. Hungry, babies. I'm sorry I didn't get to it sooner, I thought. I washed out their water bowl and refilled it. I sat it down next to their food. The dryer sounded and I pulled out what I needed to get ready for the day.
I got near the bathroom door and Binx started to meow.
"What? Come here," I said as I picked up my small black cat. I patted him and he purred.
