Maddison's POV

"Hay Maddison do you wanna play in this game or do you wanna sit in this bench forever?" coach said whispering to me so no one would listen . "I..I..I don't want the team to lose so I would rather stay on the bench if you would let me " I whispered as low as I can , but either way she still listened to me and nodded and went back to coaching . I want to play but the score is 24-23 I knew my girls could win the game if I stayed on the bench with the other ones that go hurt , sadly I want to magically cure them so I can see them play but I know the only thing I could do I stay quite and sit there like a little statue . Maggie spiked the ball hard to number 28 sadly she couldn't keep up with Maggie and missed . Then I herd the buzzer go off giving me the noise I know I would've herd either way . I loved how all the girls were happy winning , I really don't know why since we win all the games we play as I huddled to say the chant we always say when we win coach pulled me over and said "This week you're co-captain okay?" I looked at her like if she was crazy which she was because I know that Maggie wanted to be co-captain because she said when she was talking to the whole team. "I'm sorry coach but I would have to refuse that offer and give it to Maggie because she just won us our championship game " I said while looking at Maggie with a great big smile. I heard her sigh and walked to Maggie and tell her the news , the next thing I know is Maggie running up to me and hugging me saying "Thank you " I just stood there and smiled slightly like an idiot. We said goodbye to the other team and good game to every one then we went out in search for the bus outside , Maggie told me that we were going to share the bus with the football boys and that there were already on the bus waiting for us . I just smiled and said 'ok ' she went with her friends after saying 'Thank you again' . Well she did earn it , a few minutes later we found the bus parked were the football field was, I herd the boys sing to a song I didn't know all I was hearing " we are the champions ,my friends and I" "I'm guessing they won like us making our school undefeated in volleyball and football " I said to myself in my mind . The busses door opened and the bus drive asked me "Donna High School Volleyball girls?" "Yes and thank you for waiting" I said with a smile on my face then climbed up the stairs , suddenly I felt all eyes on me I quickly looked down and rushed to the back of the bus there was nothing there cause all the guys carried the stuff with them . I saw Maggie sit with the football captain Trever , then Abby with Chris and all the girls sat with one of the football team member I thought "They deserved a break from the rules " I lost my train of thought when I herd coach say "nope were gonna assign seat so every one up !". I quickly got up and bumped my head with the air-con and yelped 'ouch' as loud that every one turned around to see me , I looked at my feet while grabbing the back of my head then I herd coach saying my name '' Maddison come sit in the front before you hurt yourself more. " I got my stuff and said 'Excuse me while passing threw the middle of the bus , coach pointed to the seat were Maggie and Trever were sitting "Trever sit down " the boy coach said to him. I felt my cheeks get warm I herd a 'tsk' sound from Trever . "Did I just make him mad at me oh why did I have to get up the fast?" I asked my self that questioned in my mind , coach moved some boys and some girls around then we were ready to leave to school. I felt bad for taking Maggie's seat with Trever so I turned around and saw Maggie behind me so I mouthed 'I'm sorry for taking your seat' she looked at me then mouthed ' it's okay'. Then I saw Trever looking at me I looked at my knee pads and my hair got in I'm face I was scared for dear life when I felt a hand grab my hair and pull it back , I quickly looked up and saw Trever and he said "Sorry just wanted to see your face" "Uhh .. Ummm .. I'm sorry I took Maggie's seat I know you like her company and sorry for not looking at you " . I herd a small low chuckle from him , that made me smile .
