Heroes of Olympus X Reader one-shots!

Costume Party

I'm watching Nightmare Before Christmas right now, so yeah.
"(Y/n)!" You turned around to see Piper running up to you.
"Yeah, Pipes? What's up?" You asked.
"Did you hear about the Halloween dance that the Dionysus and Aphrodite cabins are putting on? It's this Friday! Everyone is wearing costumes and it's going to be so fun!" She said quickly.
"You know I'm not a fan of dances, Piper." You replied.
"But your a fan of Halloween!" She said. That was true.
"Well, ok. I guess."
"Ok! If you need help with your costume, tell me!"
*time skip to later that day*
"Ugh! What am I going to be for Halloween?" You layed on one of the beds in the Hades cabin with half your body hanging off.
"Don't ask me! I haven't decided what I'm going to be either!" Nico said.
"Wait, your going?" You asked. It didn't seem the Nico-ish thing to do.
"Uh, yeah. I am." He rubbed the back of his neck.
"Who with?" You asked, slightly dissapointed.
"No one that I know of..." he said.
"Well, I still have to find a costume." You got up and left his cabin.

After hours of scrolling through pinterest on your demigod-proof phone, you finally found a costume you liked! It was also easy to make. You decided to be Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. You jumped up and began making your awesome costume.Later you asked Nico what he was going to be, but he told you it was a surprise. So, you refused to tell him either.
*timeskip to the day of the dance(I know, alot of timeskips..)*

The dance was in two hours and everyone was getting ready. You jogged to the Aphrodite cabin so Piper could help you with your makeup. Inside, it was a madhouse. Girls were running back and forth frantically, tripping over dresses amd such.
"Piper?" You asked/yelled.
"Over here, (y/n)!" She called. You walked over to see her in full Super Woman costume. Her and Jason were doing a couple costume: Superman and Superwoman. Percy and Annabeth were doing a genderbend Little Mermaid, Leo was Iron Man, and Frank and Hazel were in New Rome.
"Come, sit! You going to have one of the best costumes!" You sat in a chair as Piper sweeped colors over your face. When she was done, you looked in the mirror and could barely recognize yourself. Your eyes looked three times their normal size and your skin was a greyish color.
"Wow, Piper. This is amazing!" You smiled.
"Now go get the rest of your costume on!" She shooed you back to your cabin.
About an hour later, you walked to the Mess Hall with Leo, Jason, and Piper.
"So, (y/n), are you going with anyone?" Leo lifted up his mask.
"Nope!" You said. "I'm still a single pringle!"
He high-fived you as you four came to the dance. The Dionysus and Aphrodite cabins really went all out. There were orange, purple, green, and black streamers, jack o lanterns, ghost shaped lanterns, and even hand shaped ice cubes in the punch bowl.
"Wow." You said.
Most of the time there you sat at one of the small tables by yourself. You danced with Leo a little bit, but after stepping on eachothers feet multiple times, you gave up.
"Hey, (y/n), your boyfriend is here." Said one of the other campers.
"I don't have a boyfriend." You replied.
"Sure," they said sarcastically, "that's why you have a couple costume." Thay pinted to a boy dressed as Jack Skellington. It took you a moment, but you relized who it was. Nico di Angelo. Your best friend. He had face paint and a suit on, however his messy black hair still stuck up in every direction. His hair was cute like that. Then you relized who he was standing next to. Will freaking Solace (sorry solangelo shippers). Nico caught your eye and his jaw dropped. However, you gave him a hurt look and stormed away.
It wasn't his fault, you told yourelf, how could he know that you liked him. Besides, he's obviously with Will. And then you left the party. You decided to the creek near the woods. As you were leaving, people were telling you that your "boyfriend" was looking for you, but you ignored them. When you got to the creek, you sat on a rock in silence. You took deep breaths and tried not to cry.
"Now, if you don't mind
I'd like to join you by your side."

You sat bolt uprigt and turned to see none other than Nico standing there, grinning.

"Where we can gaze among the stars"
The last part you two sang together.
"And sit together, now and forever.
For it is clear, for anyone to see
We're simply meant to be."
Now he was very close to you, both of you smiling.
"Why did you leave?" He asked.
"I- I thought you were with Will." You sighed.
"Like with as in "in a relationship" with?" He asked again. You just nodded your head and looked at you shoes.
"Are you?" You asked.
"Does this answer your question?" He said and before you knew qhat was going on, he kissed you. You put our arms around his neck and kissed back.
Well, this year, neither of you regretted your Halloween costumes.

Haiii! Anyways, im in a Halloween mood.

AOTD: Im being a Greek warrior(no not one of those inappropriate "greek warrior woman" with the short skirt and stuff) just a CHB shirt, a sword, sheild, and helmet. :)
