Chapter One~First day

Chapter 1: First Day

~Author's Note~ So like I said this is my first story and I hope you all like it. Also, if you guys want one shots from any anime/vocaloid you want I'd be happy to take suggestions~

   It's my first day of high school. The summer had just been a flash before my eyes. I did have a fun time, but I wasn't ready for it to be over. I walked into school wondering where I was going to hang out, or eat my lunch. I called my best friend Mitsuko to see if she was here yet, and of course she hadn't even woken up yet. I sat at an empty table and just listened to music. I pulled out my sketchbook while I was waiting to go to class. Once the bell had rung I saw Mitsuko running towards me and I laughed. "Hoshiko!! I'm here!" she yelled and I laughed at her. "Good morning sunshine." I laughed as she glared at me. We began to walk to class and she continued to glare at me. "Why didn't you wake me up?" she whined. "It shouldn't be my job to wake you up, plus I called you at least twice." I giggled at her. We walked past a few building and I saw my class."This is my class, you should go find yours." I smiled and gave her a hug before she walked away.

    I walked into class and took the first seat in the front. All I could say was this was my first mistake. First period, English, my favorite class, first thing in the morning. I sat in the class with two other students and the teacher, painfully awkward. More students began to slowly fill up the classroom before the bell had rung. Once it had the teacher began to introduce himself. "Hello Class, I am Mr. Hashira, I will be your English teacher this year." he smiled and passed out the syllabus. About five minutes into the class a boy walked in with his hood on and earphones in. He looked around the class for an open seat and picked the one behind mine. "Hood off, earphones out sir." Mr. Hashira mumbled in an annoyed tone. "Len Kagamine correct?" He asked and the boy nodded. He was an extremely pretty boy. He had blonde hair that he had in a tiny ponytail with bangs in the front, big, bright blue eyes, and a light skin tone. He was wearing a gray hoodie halfway zipped up, a yellow shirt, blue skinny jeans, and black Converse hi-tops. He pushed his hood down as Mr. Hashira handed him a syllabus.

    He pulled his earphones out of his ears and tapped my shoulder for me to turn around. I finished doing a little sketch on my paper and turned around. "Hey what are me supposed to be doing?" he asked trying to look at my sketch book. "Oh nothing, I was just drawing." I say shyly hoping he wouldn't judge me. "Oh, okay. Your drawing is pretty good. Can I see it?" he asked and I nodded as I passed it to him. He examined it for a while and passed it back to me. "You're really skilled..." he said leading off. "Hoshiko." I smiled and he smiled back. "I'm Len." he smiled and shook my hand. As he was smiling I couldn't help but look at his beautiful eyes. "Hello?" he laughed and snapped his fingers in front of my face. "Sorry, your eyes...they're just really nice." I smiled and he giggled. "Thank you, I got that a lot." He smiled at me.

   Once class was over I was going to walk with him to his next class, but he had already left. I shrugged it off and walked to my next class. I had biology and was dreading it since I hated science. We were put in alphabetical order by our teacher who seemed like he didn't want to be there anymore than we did. "Akiba, Amachi, Ara, Chiba," He said calling names off the seating chart. "Kotake." he called my last name and I sat down. "Kagamine." he called and I immediately got excited but when I looked up it wasn't Len, but a girl who looked extremely similar to him. "HI!" she smiled loudly and sat down next to me. "Do you have a brother or a cousin here?" I asked, the resemblance of Len was almost freaky. "YEAH! My little brother goes here! Well actually he's my twin, but I'm older by a few minutes!" she said loudly and smiled at me. "I'm Rin, by the way." she smiled polietly at me. "I'm Hoshiko." I smiled at her. "And,that makes sense. I thought you looked a lot like him." I smiled and she nodded. "Are you and your brother close?" I ask as I pull out my sketchbook. "OH YEAH! We're like best friends." She smiled brightly. She pulled out her phone and showed me all the pictures she had of the two of them. "You guys are so adorable with each other." I smile and she nodded. "We never fight with each and I think that's why we're so close." She smiled when her phone buzzed. "Speak of the devil." She smiled and answered it. I wonder what it's like to have a twin, I have an older brother, but a twin. Having a twin must be fun.

     I went through the rest of the day with nothing interesting happening, but once I got into sixth period I saw Len sitting in the front of the class. We had a seating chart in this class as well, but in random order. I sat next to a tall boy with long purple hair, named Gakupo. But he didn't talk to me since his girlfriend, Luka, sat on the other side of him. I looked to the front of the class and Len made eye contact with him. He smiled at me and gave me a small wave. I smiled and waved back and then he turned around. Once the class ended I put my earphones in and began to walk home. Len, Rin and his friends including Gakupo and Luka were walking together in front of me. I had a feeling that, that boy was going to be important to me really soon.
