Azir layed on his back on the floor after putting together over a hundred piece.

No one attempted to start a conversation, like, at all, not even through glances.

He felt reliefed that he didn't actually have to socialise to become their friend,

Can I even consider them as friends...?

But they just accepted him and he felt that he would fit in with them fine.

Azir snapped out of his reverie when he heard shuffling, he looked over to see that Marcus left his spot and headed towards the door, he opened his mouth to ask but Veronica beat him to it,

"Where are you going?" She asked in a velvety voice.

She sure does sound sick,

Azir thought to himself as he closed his eyes,

How long have we been working on this puzzle? I'm so tired..

"I'm just gonna grab some food, care to come?" Marcus offered,

"No, I want to finish this before school. Go ahead."

He heard Deric's voice next,

"Not going to happen!" He said not-so-humourously,

"Last time you went to get food, all you got us wa- Umph"

Azir opened his eyes and looked over at Deric to find him spraweled on the floor, he concluded he had tripped on something,

"My beautiful nose!!" Deric shouted, "Is it bleeding? You guys, is it??!"

He held up his face for everyone to take a look, but to his disappointment, no one uttered a word, so he stood up, went into the bathroom and took a look in the mirror to find nothing, shook his head and walked back towards Marcus, only to end up tripping again.

And that's how he managed to get a reaction out of their souls, as everyone laughed, Deric looked under his feet to try and figure out why exactly did he fall, he found a book.

He picked it up, and as he looked at the cover, a face-splitting grin broke out,

"Oh em jee! How did such a wonderful novel end up in my room?"

Veronica mumbled, more to herself than to those around her, "Your brain will never cease to amaze me."

She then slightly raised her voice, speaking with a tone as if addressing a 4-year-old,

"I got it for you to keep you from bothering us, you were reading and you ditched it to get the door, remember?"

Deric's expression faltered,

"Right, but I can't remember which page I was on..."

His face scrunched up in concentration, then slowly realisation hit him,

"I can simply start over! It's Harry Potter after all!"

Azir observed the whole thing unfold, concluding one thing,

Deric = Short Attention Span

"C-can I tag along?"

Azir asked Marcus politely, he wasn't hungry at all, he was just feeling cold and wanted to leave to go back to his room and get ready for his first day tomorrow.

Marcus replied, "Yeah.. Sure, why not."

Why do I feel like this is going to end up bad...
