"What did she need to talk to you about?" Ashton asked.

"Nothing important." I lied.

"Oh okay." Ashton replied, as we heard thunder coming from outside.

"I'll be right back." Alex said, getting up from her seat.

"Okay." Ashton replied, as she walked out of the cafeteria.

"Is something wrong? She seems different." Michael asked.

"No, I don't think so." Ashton replied, as we heard a scream in coming front the hallway.

We quickly went out and Eli was standing in the middle of the hallway. 

"Eli, what's wrong?" I asked, as he turned around.

He put his hand out of his sleeve, and showed me a bite mark that was bleeding. 

"Who did this to you?" Ashton panicked.

"Move out of the way!" The nurse yelled, coming out of the crowd.

The nurse took him to the infirmary , and everyone went back in the cafeteria.

"Was it Alex?" Michael turned to Ashton.

"I don't think so." Ashton shook his head. "She wouldn't do something like this."

"Maybe." I shrugged, as we headed back into the cafeteria.

It was almost the end of the day and Alex still didn't come back. Where the hell did she go?

"Hey." Ashton came up to me.

"Hey, did Alex text you or anything?" I asked.

"Nope." He replied, frowning. 

I opened my locker and quickly put my stuff away. I grabbed my backpack and shut my locker.

"That sucks, where did she even go?" I asked, noticing Ashton wasnt even there.

I just shrugged as the last bell rang. I really hope Eli is going to be okay. I quickly went on the bus and there were only those two girls who asked what my phone was.They stared at me, but  I just ignored them and sat back seat.

"Hey, Luke." One of them looked back at me.

"Hi." I replied.

"Are you friends with Luna?" She asked.

"I guess, why?" I asked back, as I noticed it was my stop. "Bye."

I walked off the bus, and the stared at me. I was really creeped  out and confused but I kept walking anyways. I opened the front door and JAck looked really mad.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing, just grown up problems." Jack replied, as I sat next to him on the table putting my backpack down.

"Like bills and stuff?" I asked.

"Yes." Jack replied, looking at me. "Go up to your room or what ever you do on your free time I have to talk to Jade."

"Wait, I wanted to ask you something." I said.

"What is it?"

"If vampires get bit by another vampire, what happens?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, probably be in the hospital for a couple of days." Jake replied. "What happened?"

"One of my friends got bit and they took him to the hospital right away." I explained. "We couldn't find out who bit him though."

"That's horrible." Jack shook his head. "By the way, it's me and Jade's date night so, if you want to invite a friend over you can." 

"Okay." I replied. "I'm going to go up to my room now."

I went up the stairs and into my room. I quickly checked my phone and Ashley texted me a lot. I forgot about her, and I thought she forgot about me.

Ashley: Luke, I miss you

You: I need to tell you something

Ashley: What is it???

You: I'm breaking up with you, this isn't gonna work out.

Ashley: It's fine I was already over you!

It's like I can hear her yell, when she sent that. I just turned off my phone, and layed back on my bed. I was kind of sad about it but I already knew we weren't gonna work out anyways. Suddenly I heard something hit my window. I just ignored it but it happened again. I got up and looked out my window. It was Calum! How does he know where I live. I sprinted downstairs and out the back door 9where Calum was.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Shut up for a second." Calum replied, getting closer to me. "Michael told m you guys got in trouble last night and I wanted to say I'm sorry, and I know where Alex is."

"First, It's fine and second, where did she go?" I asked.

"She came to see me." Calum explained. "She told me she had the day off school and she tried to kiss me and stuff, and she was talking about you."

"She tried to kiss you?" I asked. "She is dating Ashton and what did she say?"

"She explained to me who you were but I already knew, and I never kissed her back though." Calum explained. "I know I didn't have to come to your house to tell you this but I had no way of contacting you."

"It's fine, and do you know Ashton?" I asked.

"Yes, I know everyone you go to school with, we all used to go to school together but then we got separated from each other." Calum replied, as we heard rustling from behind us. "I have to go, don't tell Michael I was here, goodbye." 

"Bye." I waved a bit, as he slowly walked away.

"Luke, who the hell was that?" Jack asked.

"Just one of my friends." I replied, going back inside.

"Why was he in our backyard?" Jack asked.

"I'm not sure." I replied.

"He's not one of us, is he?" 

How did he know? 

"Luke tell me the truth." Jack said.

"He's not."
