Alex didn't have words . It looked like as if his heart had shattered into 1million pieces . He just walked away, out of the store . "Reese, what did you just do?" Brianna said. "Well, if he had some other stuff going on and doesn't have time for me anymore well then ... ". Reese got up and ran out of the bakery . "REESE!-". But she was gone.
Next morning was a nightmare. We got up early and met at the café like we planned. Accept, Reese didn't show up. "Yesterday was like a dream, but it wasn't ." "I'm very surprised that Reese just broke up with him like that.". " I'm very concerned and worried about Reese.". We planned to visit her later. She was probably very sad but who knows. Reese has always been like that. Well, accept with us. She looks and sounds like a brat but we know somewhere inside her she has a huge heart.
We planned to start doing double chocolate chip cupcakes and Carmel frappe cupcakes since they were the most liked . We left the café and we started racing to my bakery. We had to wake up early for our annual cupcake visitors we have today. Every year, visitors come and go . We have a blast of cupcakes to do this week. Since next week is when Bella comes. Somewhere inside me feels jealous . I don't know why. All my usual customers go to Bella's Bakery and well I'm usually left alone with the bakery.
Is it possible that I changed my mind. All of a sudden, I felt like I hated Bella. I knew my bakery and my customers would stay the same . I think ....
Surprises come and go as well. Today, we had more than 30+ visitors every hour . I called Brianna since it was only Nicole and I . I also remembered that Monica was back in town. Monica was my best friend in Middle School till now. She was always there for me like no other living thing. She owns a Cookies and Cake Pops shop called "The CCP". When Monica got here she looked very different. "MONICA! What a surprise. What are you doing here?" I put the pan down and went to hug her. "I thought I'd stay here since my mother died last weekend in Britain." What I didn't say was the Monica was British and that's what I loved about her. She had this ancient and her skills. She's an amazing baker. Luckily, she stayed to help and we finished on time.
