He was a king! He was a king. Holy shit!
I look back at my family stunned.
"Arielle Marie King! How dare you disobey and disrespect the King of England. Are you crazy! And how did you even see him. How did you know he was here? Don't you think that if were bowing you should bow even though you "didn't know who he was. Bloody hell Arielle. Do you even know what you've done"
And I was surprised who it was coming from. Tiffany. How could she? She was my friend, best friend. How dare she embarrass in front of the court. Our allies. Prince Niall. What the hell. I get that she the Queen and all, but family first. Wtf?? I'm pissed off.
I get closer to her face. My mother and father was watching me cautiously.
"How dare me? how dare you. Your the Queen!I get it. You don't have to shove it in my face.
I really didn't know who it was anyways. Why the hell to you have to make it seem like I'm going to have to see him again. I'm not so just drop it. You can go and kiss his ass if you want but won't." I said.My mother looked so surprised, as did my father. He smiled.
"Arielle my darling, your going to male a great Queen soon, very soon. I could not be anymore proud." He said.
"What do you mean soon?"
"Arielle?",my mother looked at me dumbfounded. Then she looked at Tiffany's now guilty face."You didn't tell her?"
"Tell her?... Tell me what!" I asked.
Tiffany swallowed." I-I-I thought it would be a... Ehm...a good idea for France... to uh be in alliance with ..with um..England." She said
"Oh okay.". I said calmly. " so you're not marrying Prince Niall then?"
" No Arielle I am. Your marrying--"
"Me!"
I turned around to see...the one and only King of England...
I turned around. I turned and looked right in Tiffany's face. Were so close you'd think we were kissing. I stared her down, with my eyes saying my emotions. Betrayed, scare, cold, unforgiving, hatred."Arie-" she protested, but I cut her off.
"NO! DO YOU HEAR ME? NO!". I walked away from them.
