The fog came swirling around her. Covering her like a blanket. She ran fast into the darkness. She couldn't stay there a minute longer. She didn't trust her feelings or herself anymore, let alone him. She had no choice, but to run into the forest.

As a child she heard stories of Tree People and Fairies; good and bad. Eating people's flesh and taking their souls. Even so, she was never one to believe in fairy tales and she wasn't about to start now. Her orange hair bounced around as she ran like a bat out of hell. In the distance of the fog, she thought she saw a light. Whether her eyes were playing tricks on her or not,she run towards that light.

While she was running she heard his laughter getting closer and closer. She couldn't run fast enough. He was closing in on her. It wouldn't be long now til he caught up to her and dragged her back to that dark, cold castle. She couldn't go back there. The light was getting closer and closer now.

In the distance she could kind of make out a small cottage. It seemed like hours until her feet reached the stepping stones, leading up to the mysterious cottage. She knocked on the door; once, twice, three times. There was no answer. She twisted the doorknob and it came opened. A little too easily, she thought.

She walked into the darkly lit room waiting for her eyes to adjust. SLAM! She spun around finding the door shut. The only thing she heard was the fast pulse of her heart beating in fear, as she struggles to open the door. Consumed with fear she didn't hear footsteps behind her. Bang! She felt a pain in her head and she saw stars. Before she fell towards the ground the person behind her caught her.

carried her to the extra bedroom and laid her on the queen sized bed. He shut and locked the door behind him. The young man waited for the others to arrive, to see what was to be done with the orange haired young woman.

Meanwhile in the extra bedroom, the woman slowly opened her eyes. Thinking she was in her own room. Realizing she wasn't where she wanted to be, she started to weep quietly. She didn't know how long she sat there crying. How many hours have passed? She had no clue what was happening or what was going to become of her? She had lost track of the days that she had been locked up in that castle. For all she knew she could have been there for years.

When she finally stopped crying, she got a good look at the room she was being locked up in. The room was bigger then her bedroom at her house. The bed was a lot softer too. To her left there was a french door, leading outside she hoped. She got up to see if it was locked. She turned the knob but the door won't open. Sighing she looked around the room some more.

There was a few candles burning brightly giving off the only source of light. She could make out a nightstand and a table to the right of it. On the other side of the nightstand was a bookshelf full of books. But she couldn't make out the tiles.

It wasn't till nightfall when the others finally arrived. They all assumed the girl was still knocked out and that she wouldn't wake up anytime soon.

"What are we to do with her?" A man asked. He was the oldest one there and had the most experience working with their boss. He was a giant with several scars running down his arms.

"The boss said to find her and keep her here until he returns from Germany." The young man explained to the others. He was the boss's right hand man, and has more fighting and kidnapping experience than any of the other three man in the cottage.

"We're just supposed to sit here and babysit so dumb chick who made a run for it? What's so special about this one? We got more back at the Castle." The boy asked. He had no business really being here. He just wanted to make a name of himself and everyone new. But the boss didn't care. As long as he had more helpers.

A sigh left the young man's mouth as he sat and waited for more orders from the boss. They group of thugs waited an hour til they heard a bang from the extra room. They run to the door and kicked it open. Once they were all gathered into the room, they found the girl was gone. Again!
