Don't you far say that you're in love with her or that you were ever in love with her. You don't hurt the one you're in love with like that, you don't choose someone else over them. You never loved her, she was just something to pass the time with, she was just something to get your mind off of someone else. Don't mistake that with being in love. I know what being in love looks like and it doesn't look like that.
