It was a day like any other, winter was just around the corner and the temperature dropped more and more with each passing day. The girl snuggled further into her hoodie just as a gust of wind hit her. She had been waiting outside on the bus stop for about 10 minutes and although she was wearing at least 3 layers of clothing she couldn't help but feel like she was freezing.

The young girl wanted to go back inside into the comfort of her home and almost did so until his words echoed in her mind once more... "Wait for me there no matter what! I'll be there in a second so don't leave, okay?"

She could practically hear his intense feelings through the phone. It wasn't the first time that he had done that before and it wasn't the first time he had cancelled either, she didn't know what to do with the boy anymore and yet something compelled her to stay, to believe in him once more.

She rubbed her hands together trying to get some feeling back into them once more, but it seemed like it was futile. She tried once more and blew some air into them to see if that helped when suddenly her hands were covered by two other hands that were much bigger than hers. She looked up and found herself looking straight into a pair of warm caramel colored eyes. She recognized them instantly and without any warning, she hugged the boy and slid her hands inside his jacket and placed them on his mid back seeking warmth from him.

He yelped at the sudden onslaught of cold on his back making the girl giggle as she snuggled further into him seeking further warmth. Feeling just how cold her hands were, he made no complaints and simply hugged her back giving her the warmth she sought.

He wanted to see her badly and although she had no proof that he would actually come, she still waited for him. He watched her content expression as she snuggled even further into him probably thinking that if she did so, she would probably acquire more warmth. She was an adorable sight and he didn't even try of masking the fact that he was staring or his emotions for that matter.

He loosened his embrace and gently cupped her cheek with one of his hands while holding her close with the other. She looked up and met his eyes with a questioning expression but before she could say anything, he leaned down and kissed her. It was a slow and gentle kiss, one meant to express his feelings for her. She was taken aback by his actions but nevertheless, kissed him back. The kiss was slow and gentle yet intense and filled with emotions that took their breath away.

Breathlessly they parted and looked into each others eyes, each mirroring the intense emotions from the other.

"I love you," they both said at the same time surprising each other. They laughed at their corny feelings and actions and simply stayed in each others embrace although they didn't need to do so anymore.
