Beautiful lies

The rain hit the car window like a thousand bugs. It was quiet and my mom just starred at the road with no expression. She was furious with my sister. She even had to sit in the back because neither of them wanted to be next to each other. "So, Amy invited me to go to the movies with her. Can I go?" I waited for my mom to answer but she just gripped the steering wheel harder. My sister in the back laughed a little and my mom looked in the mirror and made eye contact with her and she stopped.

When we pulled into the drive way Nicole, my sister, already had her seat belt undone and was out the car in no time. She stormed into the house and my mom followed right behind her. I went and say on the front porch. I heard the yelling and slamming of doors. My mom came outside and say next to me. Her eyes blazed red and her stern face began to soften. "What were you saying earlier"? She asked.

"Can I go to the movies, with Amy?" She took a breath and let it out. Then she looked me on the eyes. "You may go." I smiled, hugged her, and went inside and up the stairs to my room. As I walked by Nicole's room there was music blaring. I knocked on the door. No answer. I knocked a few more times and she opened it. "What do you want you little twit"? She yelled. "I knocked.. Well, I wanted to talk to you about something." She narrowed her eyes then rolled them opening her door wide enough for me to get through. I went and sat on her bed. "Well"? I swallow, a little nervous to tell her. "I'm not really going to the movies with Amy, I'm going with this boy named Alec..." She smiled and say down next to me. "So you need to know about sex"? My eyes widened. "No, I just need tips on how to act. I like him, I mean, like a little." Nicole lays back on her bed. "Well, first, you can't go dressed like that. And second, let's get started on how you need to act." She stood and walked over to her closet. She picked out an old outfit that she wore when she was my size. Then she went over and grabbed her make-up. "before we dress you I need to tell you somethings." She came and sat by me.
