Chapter 2 - Wolves

The next morning I wake up with him cuddling me. I try to slip out of his grip but he just tightens it. Eventually I get loose and I stand up. I look down and smile at him.

"I think I might like him.", I whisper to myself.

"No. What am I thinking just met him." I shake that thought out of my mind and transform into my wolf to go take a run.

I turn into a wolf as black as the midnight sky with turquoise eyes and I walk further down the alley I was staying in and jump over the wall at the very end and beyond that wall is a forest I always go running in I start off just walking then I heard a stick break behind me and I turn around quickly freaking out slightly. Worrying about the sound I walk closer to it and out jumps a male brown wolf and instantly feel like I know him somehow.

"Uh what do you think you're doing here.", I growl at him.

"Just walking around little one.", he replies.

" On my territory I don't think so.", I growl defensively.

"Easy there pup.", He laughs.

"I won't take it easy.", I growl.

"I think you know who I am so why don't you settle down and take it easy Rockelle.", he responds sweetly then smiles.

"Wade it's you? What in the world why didn't you tell me who you are what you are why lie to me?", I reply, frantically.

"Stop, stop, stop, ok I didn't tell you because you would have been scared or something.", he explains to me.

"Well now I know so what are you gonna do now.", I curiously asked.

"I don't know I guess I could go back home.", he replied.

"Oh I see.", I reply sad at his answer. We walk a little more then he stops but I just keep walking completely unaware that I am walking ahead of him. I snap out of my daze and realize I was four feet ahead of him.

"I'm sorry.", I said quietly. He sits there and looks at me and stares.

"Are you ok Wade?", I asked quietly. He shakes his head then answers.

"Yea I'm fine lets go back now.", he says. When we got back to the alley way I am living in I transform back and then realize I was not wearing my clothes.

"H-H-Here use this.", he stutters and hands me his shirt. I pick it up and put in on.

"I think I'm gonna stay like this tonight just to keep you warm its kind of cold. I'll protect you as well.", He replies.

"You don't have to do this for me.", I acknowledge his sweet offer and reply. He pulls me down by tugging on his shirt so I lay down and he curls up beside me.

"Hmm so warm, and soft.", I reply rubbing my face into his fur. He licks my face and smiles completely happy with my reaction. Then he starts growling.

"Is everything ok?", I ask curiously as he sits up growling.

"please go back there, take the blanket and go back there ok.", he looks at me with fearful eyes as he begs me to hide.

"What about you?" I ask panicked.

"Fine.", he walks back with me grabbing our clothes and hides with me. He tells me to be quiet I grab onto him and hold him tightly to make my fears fall away.

He sighs "They're gone, you'll be ok now.", he leads me out from the back and we lay back down. I yawn and he tells me to sleep. The next morning I wake up to find my want to be wolf lover has gone missing.

"Wade?! Wade?! Wade!", I start to freak out i didn't know where he has gone or why.
