to build a nether portal you need obsidian. First you need to dig 4 blockes across then you fill it in with obsidian then on the both sides you put osidian 4 blocks up then to blocks across. Then you get flint n steel and you tap on the botom block in side of the square and the inside will turn purple and then you walk through and your in the nether
