Clearing Floor One

I heard my feet click against the cobblestone that made up the road. I looked at the time, 9:50. I sighed and looked where are meeting was going to be held. I gripped the handle on my sword, as though it was reassuring me that it was still there. I checked my health, trying to distract myself with anything I could find and all too soon I was at the doors of the theater.

Everyone was busy with last minute preparations. I caught sight of DarkNight and made my way over to her. She equiped some light armor, which of course, was black. Her katana was hugged tightly to her side.

" Good morning" I say

" It really isn't" she says back, obviously not a morning person.

" Well at least after this we'll be able to see the 2nd floor."

"Hopefully." She says back.

I look at the front of the group, Diabel starts yelling, telling us what formation to get into.

We're Group F, our main objective? To get rid of the Kobold Sentinels. After all the sentinels are gone, we're put into the rotation of fighting the boss. I go into my menu, and I equip my light armor, which increases my speed but has little defense.

"Hmm, I thought you were a heavy class." Darknight says

"And I thought you were a bitch, guess both of us were wrong." I say back

"LET'S DEFEAT THE BOSS AND GET LEVEL TWO" says an optimistic diabel.

Many people yelled battle cries. God, that's annoying. I unsheathe my sword, holding it in my right hand again. Then, Agil and another heavy start pushing the door open, I look to Darknight and see her draw her katana.

The doors open and everyone runs inside. The cold,hard cobblestone is replaced by some sort of soft stone. I wonder why? Doesn't matter. The boss room is about 3 football fields in length and 1 in width. When we all stepped in the torches on both sides lit up and we saw the boss. It was 20 feet tall, red as blood and looked like a dog.

Everyone scattered across the room, getting into position. I regrouped with Darknight. Then, a group of 8 foot tall creatures spawned and started rushing us.

"let's go!!" I yelled to her. The Sentinel came down on us in an instant. It went for an overhead swing. I blocked it with my sword. The clash sent it's sword up, leaving it's stomach undefended. "SWITCH" i yell, jumping back. Darknight runs forward, and slashes the Sentinel's stomach. Bringing it's health down halfway.

"AGAIN" She yells

"ON IT" I yell back.

The Sentinel runs at me again. This time he swung for my sword arm, I blocked it, sending it's arm to the side. It got faster. There was no time to switch. So instead, I cut at his torso, cutting him in half and killing him. It shattered.

"let's go" I said

"fine" she said back

We ran towards the boss. We were 100 feet ahead when Darknight amped up her speed. God, stop jumping the gun! We were ten feet when Illfang tried to attack us with his axe, we narrowly avoided it. Darknight started running up the axe! When she was at the top of the weapon she buried her weapon in it's chest and using gravity, she started fileting the boss, bringing down the boss by a whole health bar. When she reached the ground, she jumped back, trying to get out of reach of illfang. She was close, but not close enough. Illfang took his axe and cut into her shoulder, cutting down, ending at her torso. Completely cutting her in half.

Before she can even reach the ground, she shatters into a million pieces and dies in the real world.

I am furious. I stopped thinking, I gripped my sword in both hands and rushed the boss. I jumped, landed on his knee, he tried to kill me with his axe, like Darknight, but I was faster, I climbed up his axe, this time, I slashed at his neck, going down until his hip. When I reach his hip, I push off with too mush force, Illfang is pushed a good ten feet. As for me I hit the ground. Hard. My health goes into the yellow. I slide a hundred feet. And it hurts like hell. When I stop, I open my menu to get a health potion. Then I see Diabel try to attack the boss alone. I see illfang throw his axe and sheild to the side, reached behind him and got out a Nodashi. Then he started bouncing off of spires, getting his velocity up, and he fell, with his sword on top of Diabel.

A/N So yea you know how it goes, My next chapter will be out soon. -A
