On a warm, sunny morning, the Tree of Life is shining as the sun's rays touches the leaves, branches and its trunk. The rivers nearby flowing gently as usual, other trees growing and getting enough nutrients as Kelvin pours water on its roots. Zef is refreshing himself by flying, Tyrone guarding the back entrance and Inigo resting on a big tree, his body temperature at an appropriate level.
JR decided to give his allies a visit, after freshening up in the bathroom, his morning hair being fixed as he walked in the hallway leading outside to their home. Stepping outside, he took a deep breath quietly, Tyrone looking at him,
"Goodmornin'..."
"Morning to you, too." JR answered, smiling.
JR continued his walk, going outside. Zef landing in front of me as he walked after meters away from the castle back entrance.
"Good morning, sire JR."
"You can just call me by my name. Calling me sire makes me feel weird." I raised an eyebrow.
"My apologies, sire. I'm not quiet used to it, yet." He bowed.
Inigo got down and approached to me with Kelvin following behind.
"Mornin' JR. Any monsters to kill today?" Inigo asked.
"Well...not really." JR lifted an eyebrow. "This is more of a 'magic power' problem." he faced the others after Inigo.
"Everyone...please gather up." He looked back at Tyrone, "Tyrone, call my cousin."
Tyrone, without saying a word, nodded and went inside.
The three Familiars formed a group around JR. Tyrone and Ralf arrived within minutes of waiting.
"Morning coz. Tyrone said you got some announcement to make." he said after stretching his arms.
"Yes, I do. Recently, I've noticed the Tree's glow slowly fading in the past few nights. It looks like it's losing its power."
Everyone looked at JR for a moment.
"I think it's the cause of a monster again, is it?" Inigo added.
"I don't think it's a monster. There should be some trouble in this world if that's the cause." JR mulled about it, closing his eyes.
"My instincts are telling me it's the cause of an unknown source. Something not known in this world."
The Familiars started thinking about what to do next.
"We'll be going on a journey, apparently, and find this unknown source causing the Tree's power to fade. We'll have to pack some stuff like food, a tent for my cousin and I to sleep in..."
The Familiars, except Zef, started to doubt about the journey. Who knew what could this source do. Their powers might fade as well.
"It could be an exhausting journey, considering the fact that we don't know where this source is located."
Inigo, without a feeling of hesitation,
"I'll go. I mean, we'll all go, right guys?"
Tyrone and Kelvin looked at him, eyes widened.
"Are yah nuts?! We might get our powers drained! Just like water pouring out of a bottle!" Tyrone panicked.
"...I don't know, dude. I agree with your brother." Kelvin started to feel worried.
Zef, eyes shadowed, without hesitation as well, decided,
"We'll go, no matter the risk."
The other three looked at their eldest brother.
"What?! Don't tell me you got under Inigo's spell!" Tyrone demanded.
"If you guys act that way, you are just disobeying your master."
That seemed to quiet Tyrone and pondered, as well as Kelvin.
"But, I don't think we'll last out there without the help of Ralf's allies."
"WHAT?!" Ralf got excited, "THEY'LL COME TOO?!"
On the other hand, JR disapproved.
"W-what?!" His eyes widened.
"Sire, please. You're thinking about yourself again. It will not be tolerated, even if you are the master."
JR got annoyed by that, but he was right. He thought of it over before deciding,
"F....fine. They can come."
"YES! Thanks coz." Ralf hugged his cousin.
"Yeah, yeah. Cut the hugs already." his eyes averted.
"Well, in that case, let's get started!" Inigo smiled, feeling excited as well.
"I'll bring the food!" he added.
"No, let me do that. You might not only cook it, but you might burn it too." Tyrone smacked his big hand to Inigo's face.
"You'll just squish the food with your big hands!" he got annoyed, grabbed and threw his hand away and the two started arguing.
"I-I'll bring the tent..." Kelvin raised his hand slowly at face level.
JR sighed, with Zef behind him.
"We'll leave this morning. You guys have 10 minutes to prepare." he turned and heads back inside, Zef following him, leaving Ralf and the other three Familiars, two of them fighting while the other trying to stop them.

"So he'll go and find the source as well....guess I'm not the only one in this mission." A figure was hiding on a big tree, observed every action and discussion that happened.
He held a walkie-talkie, another person talking to him.
Bzzt! "Someone else will be going on the same mission as you?" bzt!
He pressed the button on the WT, "Yeah...you could put it that way."
Bzt! "Roger that. Then you won't be needing me with you on your mission." bzt!
"Heh, sorry." keeping his WT on his holder after he pressed it.
"So.....things will get exciting from here on out." the figure smirked as he leaped off of the tree.
