Olivia's POV:
I walked into the main office of the school. There they gave me my schedule and one of the teachers in the office walked me to my first period class which was science. All eyes turned to me as I opened the door. The teacher walked over to me. "Class this is Olivia. Please try to make her feel as welcome as you can." She turned to me. "You can go sit in the back next Sydney." She said. She pointed to a girl with beautiful brown hair and crisp blue eyes. I smiled at her and she rolled her eyes. I sat down and tried to work on the worksheet we had to do. I didn't understand so I turned to the girl for help. "Hey um can you help me with this?" She glared at me and laughed. "Well I guess you're just as stupid as you look." She turned around and began talking to her friends again. I sighed and continued to work even if I didn't understand.

I had made it through 4 class periods and now came time for lunch. I didn't feel like eating so I just sat at an empty table and pulled out my phone. I didn't have anything on there except the apps that already came with it. I looked up once I saw someone had sat down in front of me. It was a girl. She was pretty. She had blonde hair and green eyes and freckles all over her face. "Woah." She said. "What?" I asked confused at her remark. "You're like really pretty." She said. I blushed because no one had ever told me that beside Mel. "Well thank you. You are too and you have such nice eyes." The girl smiled. "So where did you move from? Everyone's talking about you and I just wanted to see what you were like." "I came from New York." I said. "That's so cool! I've always wanted to go there but I've lived in California all my life." I smiled. I spent the rest of lunch talking to her.

I headed to my next class. It was math, a subject I've always been good at. I walked in took a seat and waited since I was the first one there. I saw the girl who sat with me at lunch walk in and watched her sit down. I was not happy about the person who walked in next. It was Sydney. She had a smoothie in her hand, clearly still drinking it. She walked up to me. "Um you're in my seat." I wasn't going to let this girl think she had control over me. "Really? I don't see your name on it so I guess I can sit here if I want." I had never been that rude to anyone and was just as shocked as her of the words that came out of my mouth. She stared at me and then the drink in her hand. By now, most of the class had showed up. Sydney took the lid off. "Well looks like you're going to learn the hard way." She said and raised her hand over my head. She dumped the whole pink drink all over me and laughed. I gasped and got up. I ran to the bathroom.

While in the bathroom I held in my tears and just cleaned myself off. I knew I couldn't call Mel or Stephen to pick me up because they both were really busy. My jeans were stained as were my white converse. I grabbed my things and walked back to math. The teacher asked where I was. "Sorry I just had to go to the bathroom." I said. I sat at a seat farthest away from Sydney.

I went to my last two classes and waited outside to be picked up. I then heard gasps all around me. I looked up and they all were staring at Mel. She was walking towards me and everyone was staring. She walked up to me and hugged me. "I'm going to go inside and sign a few papers that I forgot to sign so just go wait in tho car okay?" I nodded and started walking towards the parking lot. "Mel B is your mom?!" So many people were coming up to me. I didn't answer any of them and walked until I got to the car.

Everyone stood by the car until Mel came out. She got into the car smiling. "So how was school?" "Fine." I said. She knew something was wrong but I guess she was waiting until we got home to ask. We drove in silence. I couldn't believe the events of today and I definitely wasn't looking forward to tomorrow.
