Prologue: How it all Happened

I held onto Azril as I ran down the street crying. Ash Ketchum just broke my heart.

I ran towards the gym and slammed the door. I backed against the wall and slid onto the floor.

I buried my hands in my knees and I began to cry. Why do I love him?

What is it that drew me in? Was it his smile? Was it the way his eyes lit up when he got excited about something?

What is it that drew me in. I am foolish to believe that he loved me back.

This wouldn't have ever happened if I hadn't insisted that he came to visit.

I heard a loud knock on the gym door.

"Misty please open the door. I need to talk to you."

It was Ash.

"Go away Ash!"

I shouted.

"Misty please talk to me. I want to expla-"

"There is nothing to explain!"

I shouted interrupting him.

"Just leave Ash I don't ever want to see you again!"

I shouted clutching clutching my silver bracelet. It was the bracelet that Ash had given me.

I threw it into the pool hoping it disappear forever.

"Please Misty."

"Just leave Ash just go back to Kalos and take Serena with you!"

I shouted stomping off slamming several doors behind me. I watched through the window and I watched him walk away.

This would've never happened if I had asked him come and visit me. A lot can happen in a month and a lot did happen.

I put my heart in the line and now it's been severed. My heart is now shattered and I can't be fixed.
