Chapter 1: The Past

   Everything is dark. You can't even see your own hand in front of your face.
'Where am I' you think. You decide to feel your way around to try to guess where you are. Suddenly the memories come flooding back into your mind.
You were hanging out with your best friend. You try desperately to remember your friends name but you just can't put your finger on it.
You were hanging out with your best friend. Suddenly the gem glances behind you and gasps.
"Run, (Gem name)!!!" She shouts.
You turn around and see a tall gem with heavy armour walking your way.
Your friend grabs your arm and pulls you away. She takes you to her master's house.
Suddenly you remember something about your friend. She was a servant to one of the nicer diamonds. You try to process the information but the memories keep flooding your mind.
She takes you to her master's house and drags you inside, frantically. The diamond comes in and gasps when she sees how upset your friend is.
"What happened?" The diamond asks with a soothing voice.
You're friend tells her everything. The gem chasing you was Yellow Diamond. The meanest of all gems.
"We have to hide you!" The diamond grabs you and starts leading you toward a small, secure, room.
Suddenly Yellow Diamond breaks down the door and starts running toward you.
Your friend blocks you. Yellow Diamond pushes her to the wall and started beating her.
Tears started falling down your face. One after the other. Sympathetic tears for your friend. Yellow Diamond finishes her off by poofing her gem and tossing it to the side.
Your friends master summons a bright pink shield and grabbed a pink sword. She charges toward Yellow Diamond. Your tears keep falling and you sit against the wall, watching your friends get tortured.
It made you feel awful. So awful that you know you have to fight your own battles and not put in on other people. You see your friend regenerate but you keep walking toward Yellow Diamond. She yells at you to stop but you ignore it. You can't stand to see anyone get hurt anymore.
You summon your (A weapon) and charge at the fight. Yellow Diamond sees you and smiles, evily.
You push aside the other diamond and stand in front of Yellow Diamond, ready for whatever was coming. To your surprise, the gem standing before you does nothing.
She puts her weapon back in her gem and smiles.
You drop your guard for one second. It was the worst mistake of your life.
Yellow Diamond takes the chance and grabs you. She drags you away. All you can hear is the crys of your friend grieving over you. And all you can see is your friend, tears rushing down her face.
Your eyes fill with tears as well and a soft sob escapes your mouth as you get dragged away from your home and onto a large ship.
That's all you remember before you snap back into reality. The memories seemed so real at the moment. But that's all they were. Vivid memories.
You notice a few tears trickle down your cheek and quickly wipe them away.
Everything was silent and still. Nothing catches your eye until someone opens a door to your right. You look over to see a large gem with orange skin standing in the doorway. She doesn't look happy.
"Yellow Diamond wants to see you now." The gem called in a rough, yet feminine voice.
You get up and walk over to her.
"Where am I?" You ask.
The Orange-skinned gem laughs and motions for you to follow her. You decide to go.
She leads you into a huge room with several thrones. One blue, one white, one yellow, and one that sends a shiver down your spine. A pink throne with beautiful roses carved into it.
Why had this throne made your stomach churn the first time you saw it?
Your thoughts are interrupted by the sound of a door opening.
You look over and see someone you never expected nor wanted to see.
"Yellow Diamond....." You scowl, quietly.
