best friends brother

*RING RING* 

i answer the phone and hear a familiar voice. 

"get up!"

"im so fucking tiered i dont wanna go to school." 

"come on its Friday." i hear on the other line. 

"but..." i say before getting cut off. 

"no buts you're comming, I'll be there in half an hour."  

"fine!"

i get into the bathroom for a quick shower and then got dressed. i tied my hair in a messy bun and threw on sweats and a t-shirt. i hear a knock on the door, "im going!" i scream. 

i rush downstairs and open the door. "hey luke" i say 

"hey karla" he says and gives me a kiss on the cheek. "you ready to go" he asks me. "yea just let me get my bag" i reply.

"so any plans this weekend?" i ask 

"stop acting stupid you know my house party is tommarro" he says teasing me. 

i laughed and took a sandwich out of my bag. "want a piece?"  

"no thanks, im full" he replied. 

i eat my sandwich on the way to school while listening to music that luke had blasted in the car. 

"turn that down people are probably still sleeping luke!" i scream so he could hear me. 

"what did you say" he asks 

"turn it down!" i scream once more this time him hearing me.

we get to school and i go to my locker. "meet you in class luke!"  

i take off my sweater and leave it in the locker. i look through my bag and take a pencil and a binder out leaving my bag and everything eles inside the locker. i speed to my homeroom knowing im late and will probably get in trouble.  

"again" my adviser mr.madden says. 

"sorry i had to do something" i say. 

"alright, hand me the phone" he says. 

"i didn't bring it in today mister" i respond. 

"alright, i hope so, now get to class" he shouts.

i leave my adviser and go to my first piriod class. i go in and sit in my desk. i noticed that luke was already here. he was with maddie, a petite green eyed, curly blonde haired girl, who he was madly in love with. i never really liked maddie, it was mostly because i was always jelous of her but the fact that she goes out with luke makes it worst.  

"karla!" i hear someone call my name. "oh, hi Ken how are you?" i say.  

"well now, much better" he said blushing. ken is also one of my best friends. hes so sweet and cute. we've known each other for about 3 years now. he's always been there for me in the good and bad. ken is like the big brother i never had.  

our chemistry teacher mrs.clough calls for our attention. everyone goes to their original seat and stay quiet. luke throws a little paper ball at me to try to get my attention.  

"What!" i say a bit annoyed. 

"look at you're phone" he whispers. 

i look down at the screen and see one new message. i look at Luke and roll my eyes.  

"really! what is so important you had to text me right now?" 

"just look at it" he wispers.
