"ASHLEY." I hit her with one of those comfy neck pillows they give you on airplanes. Her eyes fluttered open and an annoyed expression quickly replaced her peaceful sleeping one.
"What?" You could hear her teeth being clenched together. But I don't get why she was so upset. If anything I was more excited.
"I get to see Mark in like, 3 hours." I've been saying this for every hour we've been on the plane so maybe the teeth clenching was starting to make sense.
"I know Em, and I haven't slept in about 16 so can you quit it?" She said with a sigh and turned her head away from me. I decided to try and sleep to. I put on music on my phone, replacing the noises around me.
MARK
I woke up to the sound of my creaking apartment door. I smiled to myself as I laid in bed lazily. I figured it was Emberly going to surprise me. But I was dead wrong, as I really could feel someone looking at me. I sat up quicker than ever to see a petite girl standing, just staring. I couldn't make out any prominent features. The room was only lit up by some light coming in through my window blinds. I just stared, and she didn't move a muscle. My heart was going a million miles a second and that was an understatement.
In one swift movement of hearing my door open again, she darted in the opposite direction of the front door. Then I heard the singing of my sweet angel. I felt the heartbeats go from fear to excitement. I walked slowly out, trying not to make a sound. But I made it to where the noise was coming from. There was no one there, not Emberly, not the girl.
"Hello everyone, my name is- my name is-my na-" I heard this echo throughout my apartment. Skipping and all. It was so loud, I honestly could barely hear my own thoughts.
"I am a liar." My own voice said. It sounded as if someone had taken all four of these words, from different sound clips and put them together.
I walked around trying to pin point where these noises were coming from. And what I found was astounding. 9 different tape recorders set up. Mall the play buttons were pressed. I stopped them all leaving me in silence. I looked around because I was honestly scared at this point. That's when I noticed my curtains blowing from the balcony doors being open. I walked over as the moon brought everything to light outside. I saw sheets tied together from my third floor balcony all the way to the ground. I looked all around me, making sure I was alone when I finally reached for the knot that held the sheet ladder to the balcony. I untied it and the sheets hit the ground with a small subtle thud. I turned around, as I shut and locked the balcony doors. I let our a sigh of relief until I realized, the light to my recording room was now on. The door was one the slightest crack. I peeked through the small crack, turning on stealth mode like I was in a video game. There sat another girl, all dressed in black from head to toe. I looked to my screen and all my log in credentials were just set up on there. She was on my YouTube, hovering over the upload button. A surge of fear and anger filled my body as I didn't even think, bursting through the door. She looked at me shocked, at first.
Then she clicked it, as soon as she saw me. Some video of god knows what was uploading to my channel. Let me add, I've never watched the upload process go this fast. I felt my heart pounding just like before. "Who are you?" I asked. She sat in my chair, twisting in half circles. She just looked up at me through her bangs and smirked. "My names Ava Watson, sister of Matt Watson, from Los Angeles. Pleased to meet you Mr. Iplier." The small, about 13 year old girl spoke so smoothly. I almost reached out to shake her hand but stopped mid-action. "Who's the other girl, the one who left?" I asked, trying to sound as intimidating as possible. "That's my friend, Julie Smith. She's from Massachusetts." She said turning to see the progress on the video she was uploading. "What are you two doing here?" I wanted the video to stop, it was about halfway done. "Well, Julie contacted me through tumblr. Asking where I was from." I answered her of course and she was thrilled with my answer. She then asked if I would help her with something Markiplier related and if I could keep a secret. I said yeah. I was intrigued." She propped her feet up onto my desk. I narrowed my eyes, realizing who was sending those text messages to Emberly now. It wasn't Matt, no. It was Matt's sister, but why was she doing this? I needed to know more.
