Wake up, Elton, now is not the time for daydreaming!

He jolted slightly left in his wooden, miniature school chair. It swung to the left, knocking all his books off his desk and alerting everyone's attention. "Elton, were you daydreaming again?" Soft steps approached his desk as the teacher stood in front of Elton's desk, staring down at him- like he was a small ant ready to be crushed by the powerful force of life.

" Elton...You know you shouldn't daydream during class- Detention, see me this break." She grinned, her red cheeks scrunched up next to her hazel eyes as she walked back into the front of the class. Elton stared as his books long enough to zone out, Daydream again- but he blinked his dark orange eyes away from the pages, and glanced around the room.

Knock, Knock.

Elton leaped out of his seat and grasped his books, rushing to the door silently. He stopped at the door as he was about to open it, and froze. Miss Killy noticed him as he got stuck in thought, thinking of the outside world- the one scientist are always talking about. Space, Galaxies, Wormholes, although he realized ages ago most of the pictures on Google Images were just Photo Shopped. Other peoples imaginations- just like his.

Knock, knock

"Elton, don't you dare walk out that door!" Killy raised her voice, snapping Elton out of his daydream. With a slight move of his hand, the door swung open as he slipped out into the hallway, bumped into another boy. He ignore the boy, bolting out of the school grounds.

Ding

He didn't even realize that everyone had left the the school grounds after a few moments of standing, staring curiously upwards- at the sky. Then Elton's gaze shifted to his white painted watch- 5 PM, it said.

GREAT, he thought. He manged to somehow, just somehow- Daydream for two and a half hours outside school grounds. Elton sighed, ruffling a hand through his thick black hair and walking down the street. This time, he didn't let himself set his gaze on anything.

He took a sharp left down main street, then settled his gaze on a small, polished building that stared him dead in the eyes every time he came home. Silently, he swung the door open and stared down the dusty hallway.

And stared, and stared.

And daydreamed.

WAKE, UP!

Elton jolted, and turned around- the moon was out, peeking in through the open door. Eltons heart rushed itself, searching through rooms to see if anyone got in while he was zoned out. He sighed a sigh of relief, the butterflies in his tummy vanishing- no one got in.

he approached the front door, glancing up at the full moon. It looked bright, like a small torch alight in the darkness, light enough to see- although not bright enough to disturb the darkness around it. A struggled, Ear-aching scream came from the basement as he snapped hid gaze away from the door and slammed it shut.

Blinking, he was in the basement- confused as he stared at the same boy it knocked into on the way out of school. Elton stared at the white haired boy, as he started to realize he wasn't really at the front door- he was imagining it. Someone was in the house, and he happened to zone out right in front of them.

Elton unsheathed his small, gray pocket knife as he stared into the boys yellow eyes. He small boy kept shaking begging as he settled his gaze back onto Elton, then the knife. "Who are you? Why are you here!" Elton shouted, raising his voice. The boy was smaller then him- probably around 16, he thought.

"I saw the door open, i thought this was a boot shop..." Without thinking, the boy rushed past Elton with his hesitant reply. Elton outstretched an arm to his left, trying to block off the doorway. As if the boy wasn't real- he phased through Elton's arm, bolting off out of sight.

..Elton remained confused, lost in his own thoughts.
